"Didn't even make it past the phone call.... My mechanic of 13 years is too busy at the moment Moss automotive in Amarillo. So I call Canyon tire who's done our tires and alignments and they do not do Struts but, recommended Crabtree.... So I call just to get some possible numbers on work.... The gentleman I spoke too treated me as if I was wasting his time that he doesn't talk numbers and the only reason he was on the phone with me at this point a little over 1 minute was because, he wasn't in the shop he was driving. I run my own business, I deal with calls multiple times a day to the point I know them all roughly. Definitely missed an opportunity to earn my business and $$$$ but, I assume the way he spoke to me losing one little job must not be of importance.... Simple way could of been parts roughly $xxx.xx and my labor is $xxx.xx could be a little more could be a little less but, there's an idea so you know the ball park your in. People of business sure have changed over my 45 years of life. Looks like I'll be waiting to go to Moss automotive in Amarillo. Thanks Mr. Crabtree"

"Crabtree Automotive is probably the best you can find in Canyon, TX. Gary Crabtree the owner saved me a LOT of money that I would have spent somewhere else on a part that wasn't even needed. And then still had he have done the work would have been about 150.00 cheaper. He's a sweetheart of a man, honest with you as the day is long, and loves to talk. Knowledgeable, reliable, shows you the figures, not leaving you guessing, a definite "Go To" mechanic."

"Van wouldn't start while visiting Palo Duro Canyon so I got a tow into town and rather randomly picked Crabtree Automotive. Boy am I glad I did. Gary was amazing and very knowledge with his 20 or 30 years (cant remember how long, its a long time though) of experience working on vehicles. He was busy (always a good sign) with other repairs but was able to take a look at my van and diagnose it within an hour. Figured out what needed to be done and ordered the part. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the part until the next day, otherwise I'm confident he would have had me rolling the same day. I ended up spending most of the day in the office working remotely. Gary was very hospital and let me watch over his shoulder while he worked, which he had no problem with (another good sign that he isn't doing anything shady). He even let me fix one of the identified issues on his parking lot myself (using my own tools so that I could save on labor cost). Really happy that he quickly got be rolling and prices were fair. Honest mechanic and very glad I stumbled upon Gary Crabtree's shop. Highly recommend! Wouldn't hesitate to go back."
