"Beware, DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR CAR. Had an oil change done this past Wed. They said the oil level was low and added 5.3 quarts of oil instead of the 4.2 required for the vehicle. Took our vehicle for annual inspection at the dealership and they even gave us a report stating that the oil level was too high. When we took the vehicle back to Walmart to get this corrected we are told that the system says WE REQUESTED this against corporate recommendations!!! We did not request this and were charged for 5.3. We had all paperwork from the dealership, Walmart & even showed them the owners manual. The guy at the front desk even said yes, it was their mistake but the manager refused to admit it was their fault. It is not worth the cheaper oil change, to deal with terrible customer service and false notations. I will be going to Tire Discounters from here on out."

"Bought the lifetime warranty for the tire balance and rotate. Two weeks later I had to have different rims put on at another place that wasn't able to balance the tires. So, yesterday, I took my car back to Richmond Walmart to get them balanced and rotated. Waited an hour to be told they wouldn't do it because there was rust on where my car has to be lifted. I said I was just there two weeks ago and they lifted it fine. And was also just at a professional repair shop that had it raised above head level. No problems at all. They said, oh, okay, we'll do the rotation and balance then. 30 more minutes later, the guy comes back and says the tread on one tire is low and they have them in stock for $130. I said no thank you. I just want the balance and rotation that's covered by the Walmart warranty. He says okay. Comes back twenty minutes later and says they refuse to do the service because the tread is low on one tire. I'm livid at that point. Almost two hours wasted sitting at Richmond Walmart for nothing but excuses and hassle. Then I noticed that it was lunch time and the "mechanic" guys were standing around smoking vapes. I took my car and drove twenty minutes to the Walmart in Berea. Thirty minutes later the rotation and balance was completed. Nothing said about rust or tire tread at all. Just did the service I asked for in a timely manner. Long story short, don't let those guys at the auto center of the Richmond Walmart touch your car. They're not professional at all and they don't want to do their job. Nothing but rudeness and hassle."

"The actual work on the car has always been good and the prices were good as well. A consistent problem is getting help at the counter. You can walk up and see the mechanics working away but you will wait a long time to get anyone to help at the service desk. Recently, after waiting a long time for help, I had to walk to the other end of the store to have a staff member page stone to come to the automotive department to help the queue of customers..... Also, getting the phone answered is a nightmare. Related to that, getting the phone answered is a nightmare. I have called several times where it rang so many times the call would get bounced to the main customer service desk, get transferred back to automotive, boxes back to customer service, again and again.... Frustrating to say the least."

"In July I had an oil change. Whoever did it cross threaded the drain plug. I don't drive often enough to notice however on 9/3, the low oil indicator notification told me I was low on oil. I took it to O'Reilly and there was zero oil in my 7 month old vehicle. I just got the car in Feb. Birth me, the guy at O'Reilly and another mechanic told Walmart auto and Cody, the supervisor kept telling me to drive it to them. All of us told this person that I live over 50 miles away and that my car's engine would seize up. I have a claim with them but bc i don't drive often that person said "you've been driving it since July" we all also explained how far away I live. I'm disabled and this is how they treated me. I was so angry, anyone would be if it was their brand new car. I paid almost 25,000 for my Toyota and Walmart literally totalled it. I live over 15 miles from the nearest town and that was my only vehicle. When i placed my claim the lady was nice, kind of :/ Multiple ppl told the supervisor of my situation. I'm not sure if I should hire an attorney or how Walmart is going to remedy this. I had my new car for 7 months. I never had to take it in for any repairs during that time. Now I'm sitting out here past nowhere with no vehicle. I don't know anyone here. I'm a widow that's disabled and I'm at a loss. I've been crying for the past 2 days. If I could, I would sue for a new car and punitive damages. Bc I cannot afford the tow back to Richmond. and I can't afford to lease a car. They totalled my car. They want to do some "investigation" whatever. This is really very bad on them on how they're treating a disabled person. I wish I had never let them touch my car. 2018 Toyota Highlander. Has only about 90,000 miles on it and they broke it. I will never set foot in another Walmart again. I can't afford to fix this but from the 3 mechanics I've spoken to, Walmart owes me a new car. Actively looking for an attorney. Smh"

"Had them do an oil change. Car calls for 4 quarts and looks to be about 5 - 5.5 in it. Oil line is past the dip stick touching the metal. Blow back ALL over the engine. The receipt even says 4.5 quarts. Called to ask if I should drain some before I brought it back and they said "no just bring it in like it is so we can see it...." Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Valvoline."
