"Just back to Dallas after 15 years away. It's still as great as I remember it. "We're still having fun and it's still the one." Texas BBQ is the BEST."

"I used to eat here quite regularly however it appears that there is either a change in ownership or management because the food is completely different. I paid 30.00 for lunch for 2 people and it was Not good at all. Way too much smoke flavor overpowering the meat. Meat was dry and tasted old. They also continue to raise their prices on a monthly basis. I was here in January and blue plates were 11.99 then later in January 12:99 now February the same plate is 13.75 . This is Not the same Colters Barbecue. They kept the name of a successful restaurant and changed everything about the style of preparing the food. Also raised prices and cut down portion sizes. I want be going back. Waste of hard earned money."

"I ordered My food through Uber Eats since Im sick with Covid and pretty much bed ridden. With kids to feed who l9ve BBQ this was a logical solution. I recived my order Quickly however I was missing the ribs on my 3 meat platter. Everything else was perfect. I called and spoke to Blake and explained the situation. This young man was apologetic and more than willing to go above and beyond to make it right. I was not expecting him to be so accommodating. Hes a gem in the service industry. As a fellow service worker I know we need more people like him. Thank You Blake from the bottom of my heart."

"Haven't been there for a very long time. I met for lunch, and was really surprised. It was a very nice place to meet. Very clean place with a very friendly staff. I was pleased to have gone and probably will return. Food was very good and choices were plenty. Had a nice condiment bar. Plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. If you haven't been in a while, it's worth another visit if you're looking for a BBQ."

"Two things I noticed about this BBQ, either the meat is day old meat or smoked on the fly AND if it is old meat was it re-heated with propane? First bites were OK and as I got to the end of the PoBoy, I got the sharpest taste of propane. Not definitively sure it was propane but I know the taste of it. The fries were amazing just because it is freshly cooked. Hospitality is spot on nice. Clean restaurant. One review states this place has a cafeteria feel, what BBQ place doesn't have that feel? This is Texas BBQ right? I went to Pensacola, Florida where I had chopped brisket and it easily won my approval despite being out of Texas. Maybe I might come back in a few years and see if this BBQ improved any."
