"I'm here most nights of the week. At times we come in and it's extremely busy but the staff has always been gracious and courteous towards us even when you can tell the staff is being run around the place. I could not think of a better place to kick back and relax with friends and a cold beer. From bartenders, to food, to the servers, this place is THE SPOT."

"My sister and I were excited to visit this location due to the online ratings. However, we were sorely disappointed with the experience. When we arrived, we were unsure if we could seat ourselves because there was no one at the front to ask for directions. We headed towards the bar and were standing there for a few minutes before we stopped one of the passing servers to ask if we could seat ourselves. We seated ourselves outdoors, and it took a few minutes for our server to arrive, which was fine. We ordered a multi appetizer platter that came with fries, nachos, eggrolls, and wings. Our appetizer platter took an extremely long time to arrive at our table. When it finally arrived, it had to be returned back due to an extremely long hair found on one of the eggrolls. Our server apologized for the wait and having to return to the platter. When our new platter arrived, the food was hot, but it was lackluster. Our server was super busy and not available as much as we would have preferred."

"All these years living in Pearland and our first time visiting Bogies for date night. We agreed it was a mixed review experience. Upon entering we didn't know if we should wait at the hostess stand or seat ourselves. After several minutes an employee finally arrived and told us we could sit where we liked. Our waitress immediately greeted us and asked for our drink order before we got settled and that was the most prompt attention we would have for the next hour+. We ordered the boudin ball appetizer and crawfish; both were good although lengthy in being delivered (approx. 30 minutes). $9.99/lb crawfish came with corn and potatoes which was a plus. We ordered water early on in our meal and it was delivered 20 or so minutes later. Taking in the business dynamic, we felt it was more of a sports bar (bar being the key word) than somewhere you would take your children; although we saw one family with a young child. Throughout our meal we had one or more people standing in our table vicinity vaping which was annoying and unhealthy to us. Servers were scarce for a busy Friday night. Decent first experience but we usually dine out with our teenage kids and don't feel it would be the best environment for a family dinner. Be aware there is a credit card surcharge our waitress did not inform us of."

"The wait was ridiculous. An hour to get our late lunch, when there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. The bartender/waitress was matter of a fact and seemed bothered, when you asked a question. Had to go to the bar to get drinks refilled. The wings and club sandwich were very good. The crayfish were small and overcooked; about half were worth the effort. Won't go back."

"I’ve came here before a few times and had a great time. The night life is very fun and lively but Jacqueline ensured it wasn’t fun during the day. I walked in with my boyfriend and there were less than 10 gentlemen in the establishment. It’s a dark establishment with the top of the outside portion filled by glass. We walked in when the wind was blowing and caused the door to slam behind us and got looks from everyone letting me know we were seen. She has her attention directed towards customers so we took our time trying to decide our drink choice. I noticed her moving to a back room and returning with a bar table game so thought she was grabbing the customer’s information for the game. She then proceeded to play, so I called for her attention. I said ‘Excuse me?’ A few times before I was acknowledged but it was a large bar and music playing. I understand the music could have disrupted her hearing me. No worries. I asked if we could order a drink. She carded us. No problem and swiped our cards and brought us back a receipt that stated the location required membership proof. I was unaware if terms changed since my last visit and asked about it. She told me the place is a private, members only bar. I thought that odd since I hadn’t heard that before. Considering it’s a ‘members only bar’ maybe learn to fill the toilet paper properly and efficiently would help the members feel better appreciated also. Never took a card, brought out beers and then asked if I wanted to close. I closed. I heard her greet following customers and I was the only one that got that greeting. I understand if everyone is a member but as a person with industry experience you should give attention to new customers when they arrive within a certain amount of time so they feel acknowledged and their business is appreciated. It’s just industry etiquette. It’s unfortunate she doesn’t have proper training treating customers as guests."
