"Hit up The Libertine Bar for the first time in many years and it was bumpin. The vibe was cool but I remember this place being a little quieter. It was difficult to have a conversation with someone at the same table. All in all; a straightforward bar with good beer and good change in weekly cocktails."

"I really enjoyed this place, Friday night - somewhere a 50-something like me could have a meal and drinks with 20-somethings. The Thirst Trap cocktail was a really sophisticated little drink: Botanist, Espolon, Cachaca, lime, jalapeno, basil. The jalapeno was very subtle. I had two and wanted more!! We shared a pretzel - very fluffy, warm, with choices of sauces - a queso one that was too runny for sharing and dripped across the table, but the mustard one was good anyway. I had the mango prosciutto sandwich - it was ok-to-good, though it seemed like the mango may have been canned and lightly sauteed in balsamic vinegar which meant it didn’t have a lot of mango flavor and sort of ended up burning my tongue in a vinegar kind of way. Prosciutto was very chewy, but it just is. A good idea but I wanted more fresh mango flavor. However, it was decent and with good fries. More like 3-3/4 than a 3: I would definitely go again."

"Good music and great staff! Super friendly and attentive. I have been here a few times and for whatever reason I ordered the hog wings and for $14 I only got 2? I have ordered before and swear I got more. Either way they’re delicious. Espresso martinis were beautiful but tasted like Folgers black coffee mixed with vodka. Made our mouths taste like we just smoked a cigarette and were impressively gross. Regardless, I’ll be back but maybe just a couple things to work on!"

"Checked out this place on a busy Friday for happy hour. The good thing is that happy hour runs from 4-7 PM, a tad later than most places in the neighborhood. So if you’re looking for a decent drink at a modest price, this could be a choice. A plus is the outside area which is great for hanging and people watching the Greenville area. (We sat inside since it was a tad chilly) For drinks, we tried the frozen margarita and an IPA on draft. They serve about 5-6 more cocktails on the HH menu which seemed like solid choices. Now, the food was a different story. We ordered the queso, pretzel, popcorn chicken and double cheeseburger. The queso had a decent taste except that it was literally runny and couldn’t scoop it with the chips! The pretzel was flat out cold and hard. Popcorn chicken was not bad honestly, minus the hair we found on the last piece. The cheeseburger in our opinion was the only item that we would order again if we came back. The server that helped us was kind and attentive. Our recommendation is to stop by only for the drinks and skip the food!"

"I've been here a few times now and I gotta be honest...I love their happy hour. It goes until 7pm, has both food and good drinks. Has light music so it's not too loud. Easy parking across the street (behind the gelato spot). Honestly, one of my top happy hour spots in Greenville. 5/5 would recommend and WILL go again.
