"We have been coming here for over a year. Leon, the bartender/server is like family to us. We try and come as often as we can, but we always make it a point to see him. He is so kind, respectful, and genuinely cares. As do we. The others here are wonderful too, but for us, he really made the place special for us. We always look forward to our Saturday night sushi rendezvous. Of course, the sushi is wonderful too. We tend to stick with the volcano roll, jalapeno roll, samurai roll, and the happy hour delights! I always forget to write this review, so, while we are here tonight, I made it a point to say good things about it. Love it here! Many thanks to Leon, the staff, and the fresh eats!"

"I came with a friend for a weekday lunch. Love the easy parking and quick service. Didn’t have to fight for tables either! I had the lunch bento which was delicious and filling. Friend ordered some sashimi which unfortunately wasn’t that fresh. I don’t like when salmon sashimi still has the skin either. Would come again for the bento but would probably pick oishii over this place for sashimi."

"I definitely recommend sitting in the bar area. It has such a great vibe in the bartenders are very exceptional in their service! The food is delicious and the semi shuffle make almost anything to order as well which is different than many places, so this is a fantastic place to eat if you need one!!!"

"This was not a great experience at all. The food was ok but the service killed the entire vibe for me. There were two tables in the bar and it literally took our server over 10 - 15min to get anything we asked for [water, hot rock, wasabi etc..] The only good thing was the atmosphere and the happy hour prices. I will not be back."

"I've had sushi at Nobu and Matsuhisa; at the Tokyo fish market; in Kobe and Manhattan; and at Katsuya in the San Fernando Valley where it all began. Alfred, a proud Mexican chef who has mastered Japanese cuisine, holds his own with all of them. This attractive sushi bar sits inauspiciously in a strip mall. Who knew a true artist could be found behind the sushi bar. I found him by accident on a business trip, and have come back expressly to have dinner with him. No idea how he sources such excellent fish but he does and then creates. Not to be missed if you find yourself within a days drive."
