"Accidentally left my tab open, went back after they'd closed it and found that they'd added a gratuity (perfectly fine) but also two additional beers that I never ordered. Confirmed that no one else at my table ordered them. Leaving two stars because I enjoyed this place in the past."
"Similar to another review seen below, the bartender is indeed shady and tried to steal $20 from me. (He tipped himself 145%) I was here for ~10 minutes, ordered TWO beers. The bartender ‘’mistakenly” added an extra zero to my tip ($20.0 instead of $2.00). I suppose he also “mistakenly” read the total amount as $34 instead of $16… Right.. “common mistake”. Because most patrons tip 145% to the guy twisting two caps off a bud light…. buddy behind the bar wasn’t even polite. I spoke with Fernando (manager) on the phone and he promised to make amends. Nonetheless, I’ve been going to blackfriar (uptown location) for years now. It’s a great spot to eat and drink, but I doubt I’ll return to blackfriar lakewood. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Roll tide."
"Great old school style pub with a laid back ambiance and plenty of choices for draught beers and spirits. I tried the buffalo wings w/fries and they were pretty tasty!"
