WiseGuys A Chicago Eatery-Round Rock

"So far everything I have had at WiseGuys has been excellent. I had the Italian beef the last time so this time I tried the meatball sandwich and the Chicago dog. The Chicago dog is what you would expect. Not a lot you can do to change that. Quality ingredients. The meatball sub was perfect. Four good size meatballs, sauce, a ton of mozzarella on a perfectly toasted bun. A lot of Chicago memorabilia around the restaurant. Good prices and good fountain soda. I like this place a lot. UPDATED Went back for the first time in a while and things have gotten worse. I got the meatball sub and it was not close to its former self. Awful, frozen meatballs. Very similar to Subways. Prices have increased quite a bit in 2 years as well. Adding a photo of the new meatball so others can see."

"I love the food here as I'm from Chicago and it's nice to get a taste from my old home. Everything I've had here is great. The interior is a little dark due to the window coverings, however they face due east, so I assume they did that to block the sun in the mornings (although they're not open for breakfast, so maybe I'm wrong about that). It's a great spot for authentic Chicago food. They don't skimp on the spice which is nice. You will get full for sure!"

"So I ordered from this place delivery, but the food sounded a lot better than it actually looks and tastes. So i got Italian Stallion ,Godfather,Soprano,Pizza Fries. All sounded amazing, but for the detail, it was mediocre as a pizza. Fries were decent, but nothing truly unique. As well, the italian Stallion was good, but The soprano was just too much, Just with all the bread As there Wasn't too much chicken in That's sandwich, The godfather I had to eat the next day Because of all the breading and cheese as well sauces that I that I think needs a little more sauce to really help with The bread. But the names and The Menu sounds neat, but I am not interested in Explorering the menu after my last order."

"I'm originally from Chicago and WiseGuys, A Chicago Eatery provides a truly authentic Italian Beef sandwich. Additionally, I had the Chicago Dog with a Vienna all beef Frank, and you can't do better than that. This is a must visit restaurant."

"We went to WiseGuys for lunch and it was great! It was a really nice atmosphere and I enjoyed all of the Chicago decor. We got the Italian Stallion and the Italian Beef with a side of Parmesan garlic fries. The sandwiches were delicious and the beef was extremely tasty! I would gladly order the sandwiches again but I would like a little more flavorful fries. Highly recommend!!"
