"I finally paid a visit to HEB Tru Texas BBQ. At the HEB in Georgetown. It is pretty good barbecue. I got moist brisket, sausage, turkey, pulled pork beans, Cole slaw, potato salad and cobbler. I wanted a good sample of their food. First off, the prices are a lot better than other BBQ places in central Texas. The brisket was decent. Moist but not super flavorful. Better than many places though and a lot cheaper. The sausage and turkey were good. The pulled pork was not good. Mush. Like stuff you'd buy in the refrigerator section. Likely is. Did not like it at all. All the sides are respectable. The peach cobbler was very good. Overall I would say that I would like all HEBs to have the Tru Texas BBQ restaurant inside."
"Neat atmosphere, (oddly) the best fountain drinks around (very crisp and refreshing!), and outstanding food! The turkey is the best I have ever had, and the brisket is fantastic and I order it daily (I work at curbside here). Some of the employees can be a little bit slow or might miss some things, but 99% of them are exceptional :D"
"Ordered the Brisket loaded baked potato. It was good. Taste was great. Toppings were proportionate for the size of the potato. The tea section is Stellar. Great all together."
