"The food was nothing special. It sat heavy after eating. We had a lot of trouble getting anything we needed, including tortillas for my fajitas I had to ask for four times from three different people. The servers were very friendly, but it was a real problem. The place wasn't busy. I'm not sure what was going on. We did get chips and salsa right away."

"I've never seen anyone serve a margarita flight before, but it's a damn good idea! Rio Grande has 7 or 8 flavors to choose from and you get 4 to a board. Makes for a great liquid lunch! I guess this place just reopened? Whole joint seemed new...was shut down for renovations and may be under new management. We live nearby but never stopped in before. The drinks are obviously great, but the food wasn't as exciting. Seems to cater to the Tex side of Tex Mex. Pricing was fair. Portions were fair. Taste was fair. Quality of ingredients was more than fair. Atmosphere (during lunch) was a bit reserved but comfortable. Wide range of patrons so I get the feeling the locals (including me) are interested in Rio Grande and trying to understand it's identity. Regardless, it's worth another shot. Will go for dinner and update my review then."

"We had the shrimp tacos and enchilada plate. Pretty good. Shrimp taco sauce tasted like mayo with some hot sauce. Black beans tasted slightly muddy, but still very good. Rice was fluffy. Food presentation was above average. Not the colorful plates advertised, but still well presented. Service was attentive, but friendly smiles = larger tips. Atmosphere is nice enough. Casual. Margaritas everyone raves about were strong and average. Beef enchiladas are tasty. I would return, as it is far better than many other places."

"Food-4, Service 2, Atmosphere 3. The food was good, everything was hot and tasted fresh. Acholic Drinks were mixed okay, they were a little heavy handed. We went on a Thursday or Friday, I believe. Which on this day, music is blasting with a DJ. I would have enjoyed just a tad lower, only because me and the group, we honestly had to yell at another to have a conversation while we eaten our food. I don't mind loud music to enjoy a meal, but it was hard to even think. Service could have been a lot better, all the waiters had their focus on only the outside crowd, sitting on the patio. A little bit more professional workers would have been nice. Our waiter had her tongue out licking another person's tongue sitting at another table over. Food was decent. But major improvements elsewhere."

"Very nice place clean and spacious, food and prices are good but they need to work a little bit to improve the service. It looked like the servers didn't have assigned tables, they were working as a team and at first it looked like a good idea, the problem was that they were helping too many people at the same time that they kept forgetting stuff. In my case I had to ask for my drinks two times with two different people. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm still going back, the atmosphere was great and it looks like they have DJ on Friday night."
