"All 5 dishes we tried were delicious. I really thought the owner was Italian. Happy to have this new restaurant in Georgetown. The service was also great. I only had a little surprise to find my old fashion whiskey costing $ 18 while it’s usually $10 every where. But the food was so good. Next time I’ll ask first :)"

"During our visit to La Riv, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, striking the ideal balance in texture and flavor. The handmade pasta took our taste buds on an unforgettable journey, easily the best we’ve ever had. The truffle mac and cheese, along with the charcuterie board, were delightful treats that left us wanting more. The cheesecake is to die for! A special shoutout to Alyssa for her outstanding service and to Chef Esther for her exceptional culinary skills. A well-deserved 5 stars and a true delight to have in Georgetown!"

"We spent our anniversary here last night (Christmas Eve) & it was absolutely worth it to try this new restaurant. The server Alyssa was warm & gave great service with a radiant smile. The wood fired shrimp was spicy and delicious as well as the flavorful bread!! That wood fire makes such a difference! And our handmade pappardalle with short ribs & ricotta was sososo delicious and perfect. We appreciated the bread pudding. It was so insanely delicious! And thank you to the chefs for everything. We appreciate you making our anniversary special and we've found a new favorite (& local) restaurant for lovely meals. Thank you!"

"We have really needed some nice restaurants in Georgetown and La Rev definitely is one of the best! They just opened 2 weeks ago, so are still in the soft opening and shaking out the kinks phase. We went last night. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Food restrictions are not an issue at all - and Chef Johnny went out of his way to make sure our questions were answered, and would even have made something he usually doesn't - just to satisfy my autistic son! That means the world to me. Our waitress, Shea, was amazing! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? The tweaks that are needed - the osso bucco should be falling off the bone, but was definitely tough and hard to cut. Same issue with the grilled octopus - it needed to be cooked more to get out the 'chew'. Taste was amazing though! I had the chicken - excellent! Potatoes just needed a bit more time in the oven, but overall flavor was great! For dessert we had the tiramisu and bread pudding. This is more of a personal thing, but my husband would rather have the traditional looking tiramisu and I would rather the traditional bread pudding. This reminded me of french toast more than bread pudding. I would also rather some whipped cream instead of ice cream on the pudding. I also am not a fan of 'blue bell' ice cream - too many preservatives in it. Wish it was Amy's mexican vanilla - but that's more of my own tastes. Again - great flavors though. We will definitely be back! Just a note - they are still working out the kinks so are not open yet for lunch and don't have the pizza on the menu right now."
