Steamboat Bill’s Pearland, TX

"Ate at steamboat bills in Lake Charles last weekend for the first time and was very impressed. Found out there was one right close to home and we went there today to pick up an order to take home ONLY to be extremely disappointed!!! The portion size when you order a large fish plate ($25) and large shrimp plate also ($25) compared to the one in Lake Charles. Prepare yourself to only be getting half the amount of food at the one in Houston. Plate is only worth maybe $15 at the most. The fish fillets are less than a half inch thick and the shrimp are tiny. SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED In Lake Charles the fish fillets were over an inch thick, and the shrimp were medium size and very filling. I will drive all the way back to Lake Charles to get better quality versus go to this location again. The staff was very friendly, but the food was definitely not worth the price. Not even worth half the price. You can see in the photos I have attached the thickness of the fish fillets maybe a half inch thick and the popcorn shrimp that was in my hand. Can’t even call it a medium size shrimp. In Lake Charles for the large plate we were given a minimum of 30 shrimp and at the Houston location. We literally counted 16 popcorn shrimp. And 4 very VERY thin pieces of fish"

"Super cute place. The food was bombtastic. Worth the price. I got the popcorn shrimp and beans and rice! The flavor was on point and ill be back for more. Not a long wait. Staff was on point and friendly. Cashier was pretty, clean, friendly, and seemed to be in a good mood."

"We had a great first time visit to Steamboat Bill’s. Glad we stopped here for dinner before heading out to town. Staff were super friendly and informative. The front counter Ziara was very polite and friendly. They offered a sample something we had a question about. Glad we did. It was exactly how we expected it. Definitely coming back. Flavors were great and menu has lots of options. Also selection for adult beverages were great. Chelsea also stopped by while we’re eating to make sure everything was ok. She noticed we were close to needing refills and offered. Highly recommend to visit once at least and try the flavorful food and super polite friendly staff. Unfortunately the second dish we forgot to grab beforehand. Ample parking. Lots of seating. The vibe is colorful and alive. They have two handicap parking spots and one Wounded Warrior Reserved Parking. Very awesome to see as I am a Wounded Warrior Alumni. Thank you for honoring our service members."
