Dick's Last Resort in San Antonio is a popular bar and restaurant located on Losoya Street, right on the Riverwalk. Known as "The Rowdy of the River," this legendary spot has been serving up delicious food and cold drinks since 1987. "Came with a family of 6. We all had a great time! My older boys went crazy over the raunchy atmosphere they loved it. The waitress kept the raunchiness at a perfect level for a family. And I expected an ordinary steak but my NY Strip surprised me it was actually SLAMMIN!"
"The experience was fun and our group had a great time from that aspect. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive. The low stars is because the food was pretty bad. The quality was that of a fast food restaurant but for the pricing of a fancy restaurant. One of the meals was the hot dog which was very overcooked, even completely burnt on one end. The fun part of the experience was overshadowed by the bad food quality."
"Fun place to visit with the family or friends. The concept of this particular spot is that you come here to be treated badly (in a fun way), they throw the menu to you, they make paper hats for everyone to use with funny phrases according to the age, etc... Food is a bit pricey but being right on the Riverwalk makes sense. I'm glad they added a Vegan Burger!! It was not the best I've tried but it was good tho, just make sure to skip the cheese (they might ask if you want cheese on it), other than that, there are a few other vegan options like green beans, french fries, etc... It's good to see that more restaurants are including vegan options on the menu."
"Awesome time, love the atmosphere! We had dinner on the 2nd floor the staff is as funny as can be. I had the steak and it was delicious as was the 42 oz drink. We Will definitely be coming back on our next trip."
"Absolutely wonderful experience, my wife and I are on honeymoon in San Antonio and had the best time!! We laughed with our waiter, embraced the gimmick and had an awesome time!! The hats are fantastic Thoroughly enjoyed the food also."
