"Chef Marcel of @eatwityoeyez reached out last week to invite us to visit. Today, we visited at their @bentleysonbroadway location. Bentley’s Bar has a covered outdoor area with picnic tables, heaters, bar and swings! On Wednesdays, it’s happy hour all night with $5 Crown, $7 Patron, and $3 well drinks. Dad had pineapple juice, hubby had the $3 Coors Light and I had the well drink and Crown with peach and apple. Josh was serving at the bar and took good care of us. @eatwityoeyez opened at 7pm and we ordered our food to give them a try. Every Wednesday, it’s $1 wings! We tried 5 different flavors: Lemon Pepper, OG, Smokey Cider, Flava of Asia, and BBQ. Great crunch and flavors! We also had the Pork Egg Rolls, Veggie Stir Fry Noodles with shrimp, and Fried Shrimp with fries. Overall, delicious food though some were a tad on the salty side. Nothing that couldn’t be adjusted. I spoke with a regular who visits every other week to enjoy their food so they have their following. @eatwityoeyez is also located @lombranofoodhall at I-10 and Colorado. It’s pick up and delivery only there, but great for the Med Center area. Their menus between the foodtruck and the Lombrano Food Hall is almost identical. The only difference is the cajun corn and veggie six available at Lombrano Food Hall. A little background…Chef Marcel had started with The Dojo with a different business partner in 2022 with the Asian Cajun concept. Had always been at the Bentley’s on Broadway location. Changed over to Eat Wit Yo Eyez in August 2023 and started the Lombrano Food Hall in October 2023. At the Broadway location, Chef Marcel and his wife, Teresa, are the dynamic duo behind the business. DoorDash, Uber Eats and GrubHub to order from 11am to 11pm at Lombrano Food Hall except for Sundays. They also have a resident cat, Bentley, a mixed Siamese cat! So friendly and cuddly! "I am a long time Customer of Eat Wit Yo Eyez. Chef Marcel has such a creative Palate. In the 4 years I've known him, I have loved Every Single item he has prepared for me. I've been so spoiled by perfection to the point where I order all of his sauces, seasonings and flour packs to get as close to his creations at home and when I'm away from San Antonio and can not get to him. My Favorites are: His OG wings - They never disappoint. Perfect Seasoning, perfect Fry, perfect crisp, & perfect Flavors. His Catfish with Gold sauce - Perfectly Seasoned and battered everytime - Those Darn EggRolls - Perfect Snack Food, Delicious! The fact that he has now expanded to the Lombrano Food Hall and I can get pickup his Delicious Creations during the day or have them Doordashed to me in addition to getting them at Bentley's on Broadway at Night, My Foodie Cravings are Overjoyed!"
