"We celebrated my dad's 80th/20th leap year birthday today. We're normally vegetarians, but my dad really wanted a steak for his special day. He got a ribeye and was so, so happy. Mom and I got the grilled shrimp with tomato butter and hubby had chicken tenders. We also had the chowder and potato soup. Everything was so delicious! Like, first bite makes you go "ohhh" delicious. Caroline was our server and she alone is a reason for us to go back. She was absolutely delightful! She brought my dad a birthday sundae with "happy birthday" written in chocolate syrup and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and it really made my dad's day!"

"Long wait, very busy. Food was good and hot except for the hamburger & fries. Wet tables, seats, and plates. Busy bussers that night. We were so hungry though. Ribs and chicken appetizers are good."

"We dined in. The service was great, as always, as was the atmosphere. The food was delicious, but I decided to order a soup. The soup was delicious, but it was less than a cup. Longhorn has been known for its good portions, so this caught me by surprise. The ribeye as always was great."

"Update : Had lunch here yesterday with a good friend and we both enjoyed the Grilled Chicken salad with strawberries, grapes, feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette and baked sweet potatoes on the side. I also had a cup of the Chicken Tortilla soup. All of the food was really good. Great customer service! We will definitely return again and would certainly recommend you visit Longhorn Steakhouse in Live Oak, Tx. We’ve dined in here at Longhorn Steakhouse and we’ve done takeout from here as well over the past few weeks. Great customer service received both times for dining in and take out. Both times we had the Texas Tonion with zesty dip. I ordered the Ribeye steak with fried okra, mashed potatoes and a strawberry pecan salad with an excellent vinaigrette. Hubby ordered the Chop Steak with mashed potatoes, smothered with grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions, and savory garlic herb sauce and a Steakhouse Mac and cheese. We were served hot bread with butter. All of the food was hot, well seasoned and very tasty. Will certainly return again and would definitely recommend. Great customer service. For takeout this past weekend, we ordered the Chop Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy again, another order of Tonions, Cowboy Pork Chops with mashed potatoes and gravy, Seasoned Steak House Wings, Firecracker Chicken Wraps, Fried okra, and Fried Brussels Sprouts. Again, all of the food was excellent. Will definitely return again and would certainly recommend."

"The food was ok, they seemed really busy and rushed which I can understand on a Friday night at 8 pm. Our server was friendly but not very energetic or inviting. When our brisket queso came out the cheese had already started to coagulate and harden. The chips were stale and seemed to have just been left out all day. The server forgot my side salad which I asked the server to please make it to go because our steaks had already arrived. The steaks were amazing, I had the T bone and it did not disappoint, the way it just melts in your mouth is unforgettable. Our asparagus came out after our steak and looked not appealing at all burnt pieces and soggy pieces. The steak was amazing but I left feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. May try again when they are not so busy."
