"Our service today was very good. Our server was friendly and up on our needs. Not that we were needy but she noticed a mistake with one of our meals and quickly corrected it. Our drinks were always full. We had the Pot Roast with green beans, mashed potatoes and dinner salad. Also the Big Bear chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. And the Bear's Choice breakfast which was the fluffy waffle, 2 sausage links and scrambled eggs. Topped it all off with a Bread Pudding for dessert. All was good. Iced tea was spot on, tender roast beef, delicious green beans with mashed potatoes. Huge chicken fried steak and eggs cooked perfectly. Large fluffy biscuits and creamy gravy. Delicious large dinner salad big enough to split, but you'll want it all for yourself. The only miss is the Bread Pudding. It's a bit dry and a few pieces on the top actually burned. Adding texture but with three of us sharing one huge dessert, we only ate half. They needed more of a custard, more sauce, and maybe whipped cream or offer a la mode. Still, you really need to go and treat yourself to a really good meal."

"This is a breakfast lunch and dinner place that's open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm, and this review is for the breakfast I had this morning. I probably would have given 4.5 stars if I could have, because I do have very high standards for breakfast based on the places that I go to around here, but I didn't want to go down to a 4. They don't have an omelette and pancake combination plate, but you can substitute a pancake for the biscuit. Everything was good. I really appreciated the home fries, they were real potatoes mixed with vegetables. I can't say I would drive across town to make a special trip here, but if you're in this part of town I think everyone could go here and find something they like. Most importantly, if you're a trucker, this is at a T A Truck Stop, and I'm pretty damn sure this is a much better dining option than what you would find at most truck stops."
