"This is a hiding jewel in the Eastside of San Antonio. Southern Food Best. Parking is across the restaurant. Owners are so friendly. The food was amazing. Chicken Fried steak has a flavorful sauce and very tender. Yams are in point delicious. Great corn bread. Now , the Smoked Meatloaf is incredible. Never tried a meatloaf so good. The cook came to our table to ask about the food, that's nice. Server kept checking on us. The decor is very romantic with pinks and black. This is a place to eat and enjoy."
"Despite the unassuming exterior, this restaurant is a hidden gem with delectable dishes and generous portions. Celebrated a birthday here tonight, and the space was fabulous for all 25 of us. I treated myself to catfish, Caesar salad, and greens—all served piping hot, with a delightful kick in the greens. The shrimp and grits, along with the jumbo chicken wings, looked equally impressive. The entire group was thoroughly impressed with their meals. Special kudos to the fantastic owner, Bryan."
