"Ordered a cilantro chicken dish and it was really dry...rice and beans were great though. We ordered the el Catrin waffle and it was great as well. Service was not good though..our waiter never came to check on us, never offered us refills on our drinks, and forgot the syrup with our waffle and took him another 10 minutes to bring it finally. It took him another 10 minutes to bring us our check. Service can really make or break a place and I was really disappointed in their service. Left feeling frustrated with the whole dining experience."
"We tried the new location of El Catrín North for lunch and loved it. My wife went on and on about her camarones al ajillo. I had camarones el catrín. So good. $10 for a draft beer was a little steep, but it was a big beer. My wife loved her margarita rimmed with chamoy. We want to go back at night when we would expect the place to be hopping. The decor invites you to have a good time and the bar is well-stocked. We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that offers more than a menu of “hot, brown and lots of it.” El Catrín fits the bill."

"Just tried this new Mexican restaurant, it is going to be one of our new regulars. Breakfast served all day, as well as amazing dinners. Pro tip if there is a half order option think of that as a full portion is for 2 and a half is for 1. I made that mistake with the carnitas but ended up with a ton of great leftovers. My picture is after I ate a ton of the carnitas."
