"So I come in for my meal around 10pm, which is 2 hours before closing. There are plenty of people in there, so I do understand I'll have a little wait for my food. I do wait a bit before my waitress shows up and gets my order. Eventually, I order the tots with cheese sauce for an appetizer. It takes about 15 min for that to come out, and then about another 10 min, my main meal comes out, which was the sirloin with ribs and loaded mash. Now, the ribs were luke warm, to say the least, and the steak was cold to me and not cooked to my request. I asked for medium, which is supposed to have a little pink. Instead, it was more like medium rare. The steak had no flavor at all its as if they cooked it and had it setting for a bit before it came out. You would figure if they are charging 28 bucks for ribs and a steak, they would give you a good meal. Nope, it's not happening. Now I understand this is not a top-class steak house, but it's supposed to be better than a cheap dinner restaurant. Next time I crave a steak, I will make sure to spend my money at some restaurant that cares about giving good hot food to their customers. Now, here I sit typing this review in and thinking I'm going to a fast food burger joint to get this nasty taste out of my mouth. At least the waitress apologized for the food, but that was it . I can't be mad at her since she's not the one cooking it."

"Great atmosphere and exceptional service. Our waitress was extremely pleasant, thoughtful, and very hospitable. This added to the total value of the experience. The food I unfortunately cannot provide similar praise. The presentation of the food was very good and appealed to my preconceived notion of savoriness. The food itself was overall too salty. Got lemon pepper chicken and it was just difficult to eat. The chicken is not marinated, so most of the flavor existed on the outside of the chicken (& yes I do understand how wings work). Nachos were ok."

"Absolutely delicious. Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese all on point. The star of the plate was the biscuit which had a nice explosion of flavor to compliment the mashed potatoes. Thank me later. :-p"

"Wow! We have gone to 54th St many times over the years and this has got to be one of the worst experiences we have ever had, here or anywhere! It took a good 15 minutes to get our drinks and have our orders placed. We received one appetizer in short order but the 2nd one came about 45 minutes later. After about an hr of being there, the waiter came by again and tried to confirm what our orders where. We are certain our order was not placed with the kitchen. When we did get our food our mashed potatoes and gravy were somewhat cold. It just wasn't a good experience. We were there an hr longer than we needed to be. The service was atrocious and we were never told that they were short-staffed."
