"Avoid this Snooze location! Let me first say I’ve been a fan of Snooze for a long time, usually eating at the one on I-10 & Huebner, always a great experience!. This time I was in the Stone Oak area and decided to come for brunch here (Blanco & 1604) on a Wednesday around 1pm, BIG MISTAKE! From the rude attitude of the hostess, Leticia, not a smile, not a “welcome to Snooze”, just plain ugly attitude… the long wait to get a table, even though the restaurant was half empty and NO ONE person waiting for a table when I arrived. She insisted that I sat at the bar, which I had no desire to. She then told me with a harsh yet passive-aggressive tone: “then you’re going to have to wait!” and I did. Big mistake! I should’ve left at that moment!… well I thought: “maybe the hostess is just having a bad day, but my meal will be worth the wait”. Wrong. When I finally got a table, I was promptly approached by the waitress and she was friendly, thank goodness! I placed my order right away but when I got my plate, it was wrong [ugh], someone else had to bring the side of grits I initially ordered. Oh my goodness, I did not know you could mess up a side of grits, but this Snooze was able to. lol They tested horrible [gags], you couldn’t even taste the grits, they tasted like sour milk, that nasty flavor when milk or yogurt goes bad. That’s all you could taste, sour milk, not like the yummy, cheesy, buttery grits I’m used to. They were simply inedible, they were as sour as the hostess face. Nope, I could not eat them, I almost spat them out of my mouth. I gagged, so I asked the waitress to take them back. So I ended up eating the cold and bland hash browns that initially (and erroneously) came with my Benny’s [sigh]. Overall all the food on my plate was room temperature, not hot, not even warm, room temperature at best. I did not complain, I just ate it. At that moment all I wanted was to pay and leave. Do yourself a favor and go to Le Peep or First Watch for a good breakfast/brunch, they’re both less than 10 minutes away from this Snooze, otherwise chances are you will waste your money here, like I did. $25 including tip, for a horrible brunch experience. Thank you Snooze! By the way, that hostess Leticia gives Snooze a bad name. She has such an ugly, unwelcoming attitude, can’t believe she works as a hostess, she either hates her job or picked the wrong career, she has zero customer service skills. Zero. Too bad for Snooze, can’t recommend this location at all!."

Pros - Food is good - Service was great - Atmosphere is great as well - Love the pancakes Cons - Can be busy so call ahead Love Snooze whenever I'm in San Antonio!"
