"The weather was so nice and we wanted to eat outside. So we drove all the way from live oak to Embers. Only to find that the outside patio we were looking for was booked until 6. After explaining to the manager our predicament, he seated us with the agreement we would be gone by 3:30. They served us like there was no time restrictions and their usual friendly attitude. I had the Santa Fe grilled salad with chicken , which may now be my favorite meal in San Antonio. My wife had the Embers Fries appetizer as her meal for the day , and still needed a go box since it's so big. Thank you to the staff today for making our meal so wonderful and relaxing."

"A must try if you haven’t yet! I loved the smell of the wood burning stove as soon as you hit the front door. The restaurant is a Lovely place and the staff are very friendly. Very Beautiful setting if you go in the evening. The Food was mostly excellent. Unfortunately the only thing that wasn’t 5 stars was the lemon crusted flounder, it was soggy and what little fish was there was as thin as paper and overcooked. However, The best part of our experience was the waitress immediately made it right by apologizing and asked if I would like them to remake it or if I wanted something else off the menu. Shortly after the Manager introduced himself and followed up to make sure his staff did everything possible to make it right. After our meal we were surprised with a cookie and ice cream dessert ! My family and I will be back to try other dishes."

"I came here for dinner on 2/26 around 5:30. I was warmly welcomed and immediately seated. My server, Joseph, was kind and attentive. I sampled the Love Struck Hefe, and it was absolutely delicious. What a stellar beer. I highly recommended it. Then I choose the 16 oz ribeye cooked medium rare with a loaded baked potato and grilled zucchini. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and it was so juicy and seasoned so wonderfully, with glorious herb butter on top. The potato was tender and filled with the loaded toppings that keep you coming back for more. And I am a huge fan of zucchini, so the grilled smokiness on gorgeous slices of fresh zucchini really worked for me. This meal was a fantastic way to end my day. The food was great, and I had a good time!"

"The restaurant was nice we sat outside and the mgr or server came and turned the heaters on since it was getting alittle chilly so that was Awesome! So we ordered spinach dip - good, mozzarella sticks-good (drinks) peach tea-amazing, mango lemonade -amazing (food) three. Little pigs with green beans. and sweet potato fries— Green beans can use some seasoning sweet potato fries with great three little pigs were good, we also had jalapeño macaroni and cheese, not the greatest. I had teriyaki chicken, the boneless kind those were amazing. I ordered a salad, but I never received it. We also ordered hamburger with tater tots. The tater tots were good. They said the hamburger was OK minus the redness in it. Also, the guy that was playing live music over in the corner. He did a GREAT job and it was peaceful."

"We were looking for something light for dinner and the Santa Fe Grilled Salad did not disappoint. Ordered one with salmon and one without. You can taste the smoke when eating the romaine hearts plus there's just the right amount of spice. The grilled zucchini was tasty as well."
