"We have eaten at another Fire Bowl Cafe with a good experience and thought we might have a similar experience here. Even the reviews made it seem that would be the case, but it was not. The service was fine, but there is a definite difference at places going "cashless" when it comes to overall service. As for the food, it was not "bad," but it wasn't at the level of our previous experience to the point of it being almost sub-par. Given the prices currently being charged, that poor level of meal quality it was a waste of money for us. Despite the location being clean and well maintained along with the decent service, it is highly unlikely we will patronize this location again."
"The food here is a hit or miss. I always go for “stir fry my way” with soft tofu. Sometimes the soft tofu is off with the smell and taste. Sometime, my veggie are not fully cooked. It’s somewhat raw. I don’t enjoy raw broccoli. Learned the lesson, next time has to specify to have it cook/steam longer."
"The drunken noodles are soooo good. Employees are nice. The vibes are so good. I ate outside with my sister and her husband and had a great time with good food."
"Clean and bright. Loved the ambiance. Food was hot. I would have loved some extra spice as I got drunken noodles and still wasn’t spicy at all. The quantity is good. Worth a second visit. Returned and got Thai fried rice and noodles. The second visit did not disappoint either. Good food! For the price and quality, worth the visit. Thanks!"
"I was visiting Austin and looking for options not available in the Corpus area. I had the beef lomein, pork egg roll, and crab rangoon but was unable to finish the large portion. Left overs were a great dinner too. My friend had pineapple fried rice and shrimp and it was delicious too."
