"So little attention was put into making this burger, and it was just disappointing. Pickles chips cost $7.99 for a tiny portion that's dripping with grease and came with the most watery ranch I've ever had."

"Onion rings here are some of the best I’ve had! Not the best burger experience I’ve had. Let me preface by saying I came with a large work group late on Tuesday afternoon. Service was great. Burger was somewhat of a disappointment. I ordered “The Works” without mayo, add mushrooms. Though the bun was tasty, it was a bit chewy. The burger was missing the ketchup and mustard listed on the menu item, and the mushrooms came out on the side. Feel like there are better burgers out there."

"The Hot Hickory Burger that I had the other night at Jake’s was one of the best burgers I can ever remember, and there was so much else on the menu sounding just as good that I had a hard time deciding. The number and variety of beers on tap (maybe 20?) offers something for everyone, and I loved my Lakewood Temptress Stout! We splurged on a dessert since the burgers were so awesome — Granny Jakes Mellow Cake, a chocolate cake with fudge icing and marshmallow drizzle that is served warm. It was just as delicious as it sounds. This place is the real deal."

"The waitress I had was amazing!! She was so funny and very patient with my slow family. I had the breakfast burger and it was REALLY good! It had a lot of food on it, ham, an egg, two patties and cheese! For $11 it was really good. Then my father got the Hot Hickory burger which he ate in like 2 minutes so I think he liked it. But we got these tater tots with cheese and bacon on them and they were really good too!"

"Great service! The hamburger tasted great. It looked like the advertising. The first hamburger with very delicious pickles. Never liked them on burgers before, these were great Something special about Jake's double cheese. A real find under 10$. Wait staff busting his butt to please us. Over the top. Sweet potato fries are interesting. This is a place to not miss. You have to try it! Ask for ACE the fast-waiter!"
