Monument Cafe

"Monument Monday Meatloaf special was a good and delicious meal that really hit the spot. I really like home cooking, and their meatloaf was better than the version I used to make with the addition of peppers in it along with onions. Sautéed spinach side was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Mashed potatoes were good, too. Gravy on meatloaf and mashed potatoes was really good. My husband and I both love their coffee and cream. Price was fair for the experience and delicious amount of food I got for the lunch special. We sat at the bar because it was still busy for regular tables in there. The server there did an excellent job and had cute pie earrings. I am happy to return to Monument Cafe since it has been a long absence for us."

"Monument Cafe rightfully deserves its reputation. Today we showed up on a Tuesday at 10:30. We finally beat the crowd! We were seated immediately and within 8 minutes our food was served! I had a coffee with Bailey's & Creme with my BLT. It was superb. The BLT was prepared with a perfect portion of bacon, lettuce and tomatoes that were carefully cut to fit into my sandwich so it was easy to enjoy!"

"Lauren was our server. She was most gracious and hospitable when I shared that I have very specific dietary needs! They served the most beautiful and tasty sautéed spinach mushrooms onions and a gorgeous greens and strawberry salad. Furthermore they make their own jam… To die for! And clean? You can eat your meal in the bathroom so clean!!!"

"We had an awesome experience at Monument Cafe. I'm so glad we came! They were crazy busy but worth the wait! Jessica, our server was cheerful and attentive. The food came quickly and it was hot and delicious! I had the omelet with (requested and recieved crispy) potatoes and a pancake (not shown but it was large and delicious, too). My husband had big, delicious. biscuits covered with sausage gravy and a breakfast taco. Servings were plentiful and we have plenty of leftovers."

"We stepped into this cafe just after lunch time. The aroma instantly overtook us. They had specials, daily specials and a great variety for breakfast and lunch. The homemade biscuits and jelly were so tasty. We decided on lunch items, but said we NEEDED to come back to try breakfast. My husband ordered a hamburger and added bacon, it came out with cheese and jalapeños, but it was easy to scrape off. I ordered the chicken sandwich and both were pretty good quality. The homemade pickles were different and I really enjoyed them. I will say the chicken sandwich lacked an element, but I asked for some ranch and it spruced it right up. The onions rings and thin fries were the best part of the meal in my opinion. Never received a refill and I prefer a faster pace of service, however we will definitely be coming back to enjoy breakfast next time!"
