"Food: One of the best Ribeye steaks I've had in YEARS. I ordered the peppercorn sauce (which was fantastic) but forgot that I even ordered it because the meat was perfectly cooked. Service: We had Mark (I think this is right) as our waiter and he was amazing at giving recommendations. The Pork Chop my wife ordered was amazing. And he is correct, it's better than Perry's with it's jam it is cooked in. Atmosphere: a little dark but definitely sets a nice date night setting where it's easy to forget the place isn't massive. The bar is compact but set at the front away from your dining experience. The patio (pending weather) is awesome and spacious."
"Went for our Anniversary. Glad we had reservations, it was packed on a Saturday night! Service was outstanding. My husband had the filet and I had the Redfish. Steak was cooked to perfection, the redfish was good. We had shrimp cocktail was great, a little spicy. Only item I didn't care for was the mashed potatoes, otherwise it was an excellent dinner. A little pricey. Drinks were excellent as well!"
"This was probably my 10th visit to 1845. Every other visit I have ordered the Tomahawk pork chop. It is the best item you can order. It’s a must try. This time I had the filet with shrimp. The shrimp came on a bed of dirty rice. The shrimp was excellent and the rice was an unexpected treat. The Brussels never disappoint. Drinks at 1845 are all made with care. Just watch the work at the bar while you wait. If you are ordering straight bourbon because you see a rare bottle from Buffalo Trace, just make sure to ask the price first as they tend to be expensive."
