"The patio is where it's at here. Well shaded and setup perfectly. The staff was willing to wipe off any table we chose. The food is always good here. Tacos are awesome...the quail is also very good. The staff is also always welcoming, even when I'm in shorts and a dirty T-shirt (it's a nice restaurant)."
"Such a cool interior with giant windows, strings of lights, and a porch with heaters. There was a wait on a Friday night, but it was only about 15 minutes. The waiter was very quick prompt and kind and the food was warm hot and delicious!"
"Excellent! We had the special, molcajete…deliciousness! Also ordered queso with chorizo and a Lone Star Kid to drink. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended and the manager stopped by to check on us. Very impressed!"
"Incredibly disappointing! Food is okay but considering Mexican and Tex-Mex are everywhere, it isn’t great. We were put on the waitlist. The hostess said it would take 20 to 30 minutes. We waited at the bar with drinks for 30 minutes with no response. I went back to the hostess stand where she was so confused/overwhelmed. We got seated immediately after. If we didn’t go back to the hostess desk, we probably would have waited much longer. After waiting for 40 minutes, we finally got seated. The seat is still the same as it was two years ago. It slides out and is very uncomfortable. Picture included. Our server took our appetizer order of guacamole, guacamole finally came ~25 minutes and we didn’t even order our mains yet. Our server didn’t even come back from the first initial introduction. The air conditioning was dripping on my dad. The server took too long and we just ordered drinks at the bar, despite being seated. I didn’t get corn tortillas with my fajitas. Just a lot of things happened and didn’t. This restaurant is as expensive as upscale Mexican in Dallas, where they have brusque but better service. I don’t blame the staff; I think it is the management that overworks the people that are there. I don’t understand why this place has such high ratings."
"My husband brought me here for our date night. We had the best time from start to finish. We sat at the bar and the servers were attentive the whole time. The food was hot and fresh. The salsa was AMAZING, and warm. It actually has some heat to it the way it should. I was a happy vegetarian ordering the veggie fajitas. And my husband loved his shrimp enchiladas."
