"Prior to the entree being served fresh warm flour tortillas and crispy hot tortilla chips were available on the table with salsa. The salsa was very good had just enough bite but not too harsh for the weak at heart! The entrees were served promptly and a nice cooked temperature without being overly hot. The Spanish rice was very good, the refried beans were good as was the guacamole. Soft brisket tacos or extremely good. The crispy soft tacos we're very good with plenty of lettuce and cheese and fixings. All the meals were aesthetically pleasing! Service was very good with our server attentive to make sure all drinks were refilled."

"Alamo Cafe was a wonderful gathering for our annual Christmas dinner party there was 13 of us and they made sure we had comfortable seating and the service was wonderful our waiter really worked hard. The tortillas homemade we're great watching the ladies making the tortillas brought back memories. And the chips and salsa were good. All in all it's a wonderful place to visit and dine in."

"05JAN24: Only trying new restaurants this new year, stopped here for lunch with a co-worker. It wasn't a bad experience or bad food. Everything was just - middle of the road mediocre. Not busy today, had to flag down our server for drink refills. My fish tacos was bland, like I could only taste the taco and cabbage. Not sure what the white sauce was; but couldn't taste it. The food was like if a chain restaurant that didn't specialize in Tex-Mex served Tex-Mex. Looking around, there were no Hispanic patrons or servers. The tortillas were good though."

"Honestly I am surprised that I haven't reviewed this place as I've been coming to this location for a long time! I love that one of their main attractions is their freshly made tortillas! Go ahead and get as many as you like and don't forget to add some butter and salt! All the chicken meals are personally what I crave but the brisket tacos are pretty decent as well. Oh and I would recommend ordering their refried beans instead of the boracho beans as they are WAY better and....you can make bean tacos and enjoy even more tortillas!"
