"Took my daughters here this week and could not resist getting the queso fries with roast beef as an appetizer. It was a choice we did not regret, so delicious! Even the next day the flavor held strong. Also got the steak po boy, so much food and flavor. Our waitress was on top of everything and the place is just dang cool, will be back soon! A new favorite :)"

"This was my first time trying this place out. Definitely would recommend it! Food and drink selections were decently priced. I had the South TX Jazz drink which was my favorite! I also had the Pecan Crusted Chicken with a side of Mexican Street Corn which were amazing! The Chalmet Mac n Cheese that comes with the plate was not for me, different just not for me. Overall the server was very attentive and friendly! Try it out =)"

"Oh my goodness. I haven't had that, roll your eyes back once a punch of delicious flavor lays upon your palate, in a long time. The roux on that gumbo was perfection. That Cajun cream sauce, I could put on everything! I was surprised by the greens, they had the perfect amount of vinegar and melted in your mouth. The salmon and Parmesan crusted green beans/red bell peppers "chef's kiss" and the macaroni was yummy. I added the Cajun creamy sauce to give it a bit more salt to boost the delicious flavor. The food was so awesome, I forgot to mention our server, Whitney! She was very accommodating, had a southern charm about herself and made my special day, that much more special! I hope to go back one day and have JUST the same experience!"

"it was all trash. food, service, drinks. garbage. i didn’t even bother taking it home eta more details. this was our first time to this location. we placed our first order for the children’s meals and a gumbo to share. while we decide on our meals. while the gumbo came out hot. there was layer of grease and it tasted watered down. we ordered our meals and asked our waitress for her recommendations for either the hot or cold shrimp. she recommended the hot. so i went with that. when my plate came out i immediately noticed i was brought out cold shrimp, her resolution was to bring me a cup of the sauce. which was a glob of cold seasoned butter. (i assume) it was extremely salty and off putting. grits were cold and again the layer of caked up grease on the scampi was enough to ruin my appetite. she saw my frustration and brought out a half pound of hot shrimp. to compensate. by that point i was just completely over the entire experience. my spouse ordered the catfish with a side of collard greens. he expressed it was not the best, but not terrible. we asked 3 times were his side of greens were and they finally brought it out mid meal. with no apology for the delay. she also brought out the wrong treats for my kids meals. when i asked for the correct one. she offered no apologies. didn’t ask if i needed a box for my entire meal $35 dollars of a complete waste of money and food. she acted to be completely oblivious to any remarks we made regarding the taste or qualities of the food. with responses like “oh ok” or just completely ignoring our questions and comments to her about the food. it was a slow busy night and it very loud. we were seated by an open window/ roll up door, it rained most of the day and was extremely humid. for $120 bucks it was the most expensive uncomfortable unappetizing meal. we’ve experienced in along while. we will not be back and i would also like to be refunded for my the shrimp meal as the photos i posted are the after not the before."
