"We went to the one on scenic loop because we had heard about how good the one in San Antonio was and this one was closest. We got there and ordered chips and queso and salsa. That was the best part of the meal it was really good. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and I think I got maybe 5 sips before it was gone it was barely anything. We got puffy tacos and beef and bean burritos. None of it had any flavor at all. The puffy tacos were dry with zero seasoning or flavor. I don’t think they used anything besides plain unseasoned chicken with some lettuce and tomatoes. The beef and bean burritos were bland as well with no flavor. The rice was extremely dry and flavorless as well. Very disappointing because of the good things I had heard. The outdoor seating had a great atmosphere and everyone was very nice just wish the food tasted good"

"We love going to La Hacienda at the Scenic Loop, especially when our favorite waiter/manager IAN is working. He and his staff welcome us like old friends. It's a family-owned and run business with great food, music and hospitality. We have become regulars for Friday or Saturday date nights and love seeing IAN and having fun conversations. He always makes our night. When his father or aunt are there, they come by to thank us for coming and asking how we're doing. Our favorite is the nacho Bustamante. They are awesome. Followed by a delicious fajita plate of beef and chicken. I had the tortilla soup last night which was amazing. When the weather is warm, we sit outside and enjoy the live music and see the little kids play in the kids' area. Great for family dinners and dates. Casual and always a good meal. You'll be happy you stopped by."

"Loved La Hacienda - Scenic Loop. Easy parking near the entrance. Walking in and the comfortable family oriented approach to business was evident. Super friendly hosts and a busy kitchen greet you when you walk in. Seated quickly and a spunky young server engaged our group. We ordered drinks and they were great. The menu is unlike most of the traditional Tex-Mex spots. You get a feel that these are more like Mex-Latin/ and Texas rolled together. The Combo Fajitas were great and their skirt steak was super flavorful and tender. Not the gristly cut that is too common. The owner walked around and greeted the patrons and seemed to personally know many of the groups. Such a great vibe to go with their menu. This will be a regular for us when we are near Leone Springs. 5+ Stars! Thanks for a great evening!"

"The plates here are large. The tortillas are good and served hot. Have a beer, coffee or margarita because the food being Mexican it is a little salty. I had water and each time I took a drink of water it cleared my palette and then back to salty. They food is very good, large serving and great customer service."

"The outdoor seating is nice and they have outdoor heaters. There is also an outside play area for the kids. The food itself was a bit overpriced but decent. There is a charge for a bowl of chips. The Shrimp Cocktail doesn’t come with chips or crackers either. Our server was friendly and attentive."
