About the Business

Station Cafe

Station Cafe is a cozy cafe and restaurant located at 108 King William Street in San Antonio, Texas. We pride ourselves on starting early every day to bring you fresh baked bread, desserts, soup, salad, and sandwiches. Our specialty is our spicy sauces made from fresh peppers that are favorites in Southwest Texas.

Founded by Jon & Stacie in an old Texaco station, we originally focused on pizza, fresh desserts, soup, and salads. Over time, our sandwich specials became popular and our menu expanded. In 2011, we moved to our current location and transformed the Station into a Tap Room.

At Station Cafe, we offer a selection of local and national beers and ciders on tap or in package. Enjoy our beautiful patio, pizza slices, and our giant hot dog on a house-made bun with one of our exciting sauces. We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed on weekends for family time.

With a large dining room and outdoor patio seating, we have plenty of space to accommodate guests. You can also conveniently order online. Come visit us at 108 King William Street in San Antonio or give us a call at (210) 444-2200.

"Great quick lunch spot. I arrived at 12:20 so parking was hard to find, had to park on the other side of the park,.. question.. ever though of investing in a parking lot? The food was pretty good, but kinda greasy. I got the turkey club and pepperoni, mushroom olive slices of pizza. I should've just asked for pepperoni and mushrooms, no olives. Not a big fan of olives and that might have contributed to the grease. I just picked them off. The service was quick and friendly the line moved pretty fast. It wss a bit crowded, no tables were available, so i took my food to go. It was very loud since such a small place, everyone chatting. I was satisfied though. Been here a few times spread out over past few years. Would recommend!"

"Nice cozy place. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a veggie cheese burger it was okay. Not a bad price for it. I will be back and try other items on the menu. I just wished they had French fries. That's one my weakness. I would suggest to try this restaurant out. Oh, BTW I added the mayonnaise on the burger. I'm a mayonnaise freak."

"Came here while visiting from Dallas. Found it on Reddit while looking for non touristy places to eat. It opened at 11, we showed up just after and within 10 minutes after ordering the line was to the door. The food was amazing. You can tell everything is made from scratch. The vegan burger was one of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had. The sides and drinks (hibiscus mint tea) were also delicious. I would have come back for dinner if we weren’t leaving the same day. I can’t wait to come back to San Antonio, this place will be on the top of my list."

"Great sandwiches and a cool vibe. Tried the Italian which was really good. Fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. Pizza was just ok, IMO. Not bad at all, but not the star of the show. Looking forward to making my way through the menu."

"I have been here so many times and I always leave full and satisfied. The lunch does get busy but it is worth it. My favorite will always be the vegan sandwich. I'm not a vegan but damn it's so good! I had the meatball, parmesan, pulled pork, and white Buffalo beef sandwiches and ALL have been DELICIOUS! The pizza is good too but it doesn't out beat the sandwiches. The places is a decent size and the chips are separate and so are the drinks. Overall it's a really good sandwich cafe."
