"Alamo Auto Supply probably will install your light bar just fine but ask them to go beyond that and they will likely screw the job up l, even with detailed written instructions. I took my vehicle to Alamo to install a CB radio and an antenna. In completing the job their technicians compromised the safety of my car! Pictured below is how they sawed a hole in the C-pillar of my car, compromising this important structural element's integrity. I brought my car to Alamo because they advertise themselves as the experts in fleet upfitting in El Paso. As such I expected them to offer advice on how to best (and most safely) install equipment on a vehicle. Generally, one expects professionals in any given field to steer clients away from errors and provide expert advice. I began to notice issues with the installation right away (certain things were not installed as per the manufacturer's instructions that I had left with the installer) but I only discovered the damage to my vehicle recently when the radio stopped functioning properly and I decided to investigate. While the trim panel was pulled I found a perfectly acceptable mounting point for the antenna that did not required cutting a structural member of the unibody. The lack of forethought and professional expertise demonstrated by Alamo by not suggesting this alternative seems to me to be pure malpractice on their part. Finally, despite the sales manager telling me "We do all the radio installs for Ft. Bliss" their technicians appear to know nothing about installing two-way radios. The second photo is of a ring terminal that was used to attach the coaxial cable from the radio to the antenna mount. Instead of properly soldering the found of the coax to the terminal the terminal was first soldered to a single strand of thin wire then to the coax braid. The quality was so poor that it literally came apart when touched. Bottom line: You might not want to make your last stand with gear installed by Alamo, General Santa Anna might just have the advantage. Avoid this place like the plague."
