"I had almost the EXACT same issue as Matt in the post below. I called to see if there was anything that could be done about my nearly new liner that was installed by angies, for a pool that was also installed by angies. They proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they could do except have the pool detective come out... again. I bought a new home less than 2 years ago and it had a new liner put in before purchase. It seems odd that the exact same issue happened to 2 people in the exact same time period when Angies installed new liners. They will make it sound like it is your fault and take no ownership of the issue or blame it on "ground water" that they cannot control. I was sold on doing a liner reset (I opted out of that option) and sounds like they would've ripped me for more money if I chose to do the reset and wouldn't have helped the issue. I am not too thrilled with the overpriced products and continued issues."

"I’ve been using Angie’s for several years now and in general have been pleased with them, however I had them replace my liner in 2021 and it has been a terrible experience. Short story: have spent $8300 and have a wrinkled liner that leaks. Some details: Liner installed summer 2021 and noticed leak that winter. Contacted them and was told probably a hole in winter cover with winter pump sucking water out. Replaced winter cover for next year but had same issue. Shallow end started wrinkling after they opened it this year. Have had to spend money twice for a company to look for leaks ($850) and try to fix plus having liner reset ($2300). After liner reset wrinkles came back and pool still leaks. Leaks were found around skimmer plate and around steps - both places where liner supposed to be sealed. I suspect the leak around steps could be why it wrinkled - water going right under steps and under liner. I should have been better about noticing leaks during summer and getting on them then, but pool gets a lot of use with grandkids in and out so wasn’t surprised to have to add water. Was told the reset wasn’t guaranteed too - still, this has left a bad taste in my mouth."

"AP&S has been our pool open/closed for a few years. We have been very pleased with our service. This years closing was unfortunately not the same. Every pool opening/closing had a section designated just for opting in/out of chemicals added to the pool. This season they changed their paperwork without warning. I admit I didn’t look at it better, but I felt they used that opportunity to then add an additional $200 for “chemicals” to my pool. No conversation, just an additional $200 charge. On top of the $50 extra they were charging for my closing. I felt the lack of customer service was evident and left me feeling robbed. I felt taken advantage of. I will be looking for a new company for our pool needs in the future."

"One star because there is no option for zero Money hungry - yes. Pool supplies are twice as much as anywhere else. When the no refund, no return policy on the receipt is longer than anything else on the paper, beware. Customer service - no. Young female workers does not equal customer service Honesty and integrity - none Example A: When asked about pricing of liquid chlorine was told that their product is better than others. No, it is all 12.5% hypochlorite. Example B: Then was told, “but other places sell it all year around and it degrades.” They sell it all year around. Example C: A third employee says, “It only has a 30-day shelf life.” I then tell her that I am a chemical engineer and it has a shelf life longer than 30 days. She replies, “Well, it actually has longer but that is what we tell people.” Paul and Angie Lauth are the owners."

"I bought a pump for my above ground pool not even a year ago, pump stopped working has a buzzing sound when plugged in,I call speak to a woman told her said information, she told me cost $140. For someone to come look at it just to come out then additionally charged every 30 minutes, she asked if a licensed electrician plugged it up I said no so now that voids my warranty $600.00 I paid for this pump, why does a electrician have to plud a cord into a outlet?this place is a scam I don't recommend"
