Distinctive Rental Properties

"Rented through them 3 years only cuz it was convenient. But they refuse to fix anything they ignore any maintnance u ask for. I had a gas leak and fire department came i was sent to hospital and landlord told me its nice out i dont need ro run heat. Everything falls apart they kept me a week without a toilet even though toilet was clogged. They get mad if u call for maintnance and tell u use an app so they can ignore it. I wrote this review because they didnt want to renew my lease after all this happened. Yes but for a maintnaice guy to undermine a gas utility worker and run a furnace and almost kill us is a big mistake. Fire department flat out told us lucky we used heat during day or we would of not worke up in morniuse prng if we used it at night. We use pital and they just ignore it so portal is useless. They dont take care of anything u asked or need fixed."

"Among several property management companies which have managed our rental properties, Distinctive Rental Properties is definitely the best. Julie, Dianna, and their team are very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy. They treat our properties like their own and do a great job finding qualified tenants. They are also very keen and timely on necessary home repairs and maintenance. One time the furnace stopped working at night in one of our rental properties right before Thanksgiving holiday, Julie drove to Home Depot herself to purchase several heaters to keep the home warm while being able to arrange for the repairs the next morning. We were very thankful for their help and service. We recommended Distinctive to a few friends, and so far we have heard all good things about them."

"I rented from distinctive for about a year and a half and only stopped because I took a new job out of state. I moved in with my wife and 2 year old. When my wife was pregnant, with our second child, we had an issue with our heater, in winter, and they were very kind and responsive to get it fixed! We also had an issue with plumbing (roots in the main line) when we had guests over and they came out same day to fix it! I have had nothing but good experiences with this company and every interaction has been kind and understanding. I highly recommend distinctive."

"I rented from Distinctive for a little over 2 years and only stopped renting due to moving for work. I loved my experience with Distinctive, the office administrative staff was wonderful and always quick to respond to questions or concerns. We had a few maintenance requests throughout our time, to be expected as we were renting from an older building and requests were filled when we called in. Rent was reasonably priced and when we moved out we received our deposit back in full! I would recommend renting from Distinctive to anyone moving to the area and looking for somewhere that is reasonable in price and if you are willing to go in and talk with office staff you can be sure to get your concerns/questions/issues taken care of!"

"Our experience with Distinctive was horrible. Since move-in day, we went into a house filled with junk, poison ivy along the side, crayon marks on doors, broken sharp transitions, nails on counters, cigarette smell, and missing house keys. We were then red tagged by the gas company for a backdrafting water heater and unsafe carbon monoxide levels. We went without hot water or a timeline for fixing the issue from Distinctive, all while receiving very rude responses. Thankfully, we got out of that lease and had our deposit returned. I would never recommend renting from this company that has a long record of delayed maintenance requests, rudeness, and unkept properties."
