"Ashlie of Vetamac did an unauthorized $528.00 anesthesia inspection on a day when neither our Doctor or Anesthesia Technicians were working! Good for them; bad for us. May 2021 update: Vetamac sent Jennifer this year a highly trained anesthesia Veternary Technician. She came when we were open and trained us on leaks and peeping with the new pop off valves. Very professional. Can we have her again next year?"

"2-20-19 Installation was completed today and all is well. Our unit runs 8 or more hours a day 5 days a week and likely will need servicing on at least an every two year basis. We do nearly 10,000 surgeries a year so that makes sense. I feel a better level of comfort with the monitor in place and likely will keep an H tank on hand just in case. I think this kind of unit is a good investment but feel like the there needs to be more up front information on the monitoring and number of hours of use before problems are likely to develop. Overall these are good people to work with. 12-13-18 Tom Eden of Vetamac came today and checked the unit in question. There are leaks in connections at the bottom of the O2 concentrators preventing them from receiving enough air flow to concentrate. He has taken the unit back to work on and will let me know in a few days. We also discussed the lack of PaO2 monitoring from the output and he is looking into something we can put in line to give an alarm if the O2 concentration drops. I am now cautiously optimistic that with his help we can work this out. (Original post) Bought one of their units a couple of years ago, lost a patient last week because the concentrator quit working, it only had a one year warranty. We have gone back to H tanks. Equipment is now just a piece of scrap metal. 12-12-18 Did hear from the company today and a rep is coming tomorrow. My opinion of the equipment stands, but at least they are attempting to make it right. Time will tell. HOPE Clinic, Upper Sandusky, OH"
