"I have given this PetSmart numerous opportunities, and it has been disappointing nearly every time. I recently moved to this area and adopted a new puppy, so of course I needed things for the new puppy. When checking out, the cashier suggested for me to purchase the puppy coupon book to save money, so I did. That was very helpful; however, I was unable to use the FREE Puppy Bath coupon for my puppy’s first puppy bath because I added a trim for around her eyes, feet, and rear end. She is a long haired breed, and I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they can’t subtract the base price of the basic puppy bath from the package to honor the coupon. I’m not going to get my puppy groomed without a trim… When I asked for a manager to just clarify which puppy bath to choose to be able to use the coupon, he seemed to know less about the coupon than the cashier did, which is odd to me. Alas, I did not get to use it. During a different visit, while purchasing a few wet foods to put atop my pup’s dry food to encourage her to eat, the cashier asked me if I had ever owned a dog before and proceeded to tell me I shouldn’t feed my dog that stuff because she will get hooked on it and it’s not good for her teeth. I don’t believe I asked for her opinion and not that it matters, but this is not my first dog. I thought that was rude to ask based on what I was purchasing. Plus, if it’s so bad for them, why is the store selling it? Then, before I opened the food, I realized it was expired. I know I should have checked before purchasing it, but the expiration was in March of ‘22. Why was that still on the shelf in October? Alright, I’m done with the book. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I am fairly upset about my experiences and would not recommend this PetSmart."
