"They've changed their name over the years at this location but they've always provided some of the best cooked and boiled peanuts one could ask for! It's a fun place to go in a neat area of Birmingham and if you like peanuts it's a must visit. We've brought a good number of visitors here cause it's a simple outing to go to. Parking has gotten to be a bit of a trouble on the street though with most of it being payed city parking now which stinks."

"Alabama Peanut is a quaint piece of B'ham history with a 115 year old roaster still in operation. They also have some interesting city photos from a bygone era that are really fun to look. This is my go-to for hostess gifts and welcome packages for out-of-town visitors and they always love it."
