"I live 40 miles from the nearest Lowes, so I called to inquire if they had the item I wanted so I wouldn't take a chance driving that far for nothing. I was on the phone at least 15 minutes going back and forth between the department I needed and the service desk. I could not get an answer to a simple question. I asked the service desk if there was anyone in the store that could tell me if they had the item I wanted and she replied " I wouldn't t know", and she proceeded to transfer my call back to the unmanned department again. Pathetic. I called Ace hardware and got an immediate answer and yes they had what I was looking for."

"I went to Lowe’s off Hwy 280, and encountered the most dismissive and non attentive associate that has the face and body resemblance of Carl Winslow from family matters. We had already discussed no one was there to custom cut the steel pipe, so I asked him if the PVC pipe could be cut instead. He said annoyingly said yes and he would request someone to come and help after 20 mins of waiting and no assistance. I went and found a Customer Service rep that was great and made the Carl Winslow associate “do his job” and find someone to help me and he had the audacity to say you still have to pay for the whole pipe as if that wasn’t the most logical outcome anyway. I’m leaving 2 stars based on the Customer Service rep that rectified the issue. But for Carl Winslow, I hope someone in upper management shows him this, and brings his attitude down a notch. It’s men like him that make women not want to patronize home improvement stores like Lowe’s."

"I’m very impressed with all 6 trips to Lowes in Brook Highland due to 4 gentlemen. James, Michael, Sam (I think it was), and Seth went way above the call of duty to help me find what I needed every time. They were professional, knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help. It’s always a pleasant experience at this Lowe’s!"

"Waited 3 weeks for dishwasher install. Day of install driver called that he was coming. Never showed. Call him back hour later said we were not home so he retuned it to store. Someone was home the entire time. Went to store and associate said installer still had dishwasher and could not reschedule or give refund. Do not allow Crume installations to set up appointment. Horrible experience. Worth extra money to have Home Depot/Besy Buy perform services."

"The guy that helped us was very knowledgeable. We had a great experience. The only negative I have to say is they don't seem to have a lot of inventory in stock on the large items. Needed a fridge that day and every one we asked about had to be ordered. That could be the way all places are I don't know. But overall it was a good experience there."
