"Great great great company, I was skeptical at first but my dispatcher (Vince) has been awesome! He gets me miles and the pay is great! HMD hired me even though I was outside of their hiring area and they still find a way to get me home on time, one complaint is they like to run you until 8, 9, 10pm so extra trip planning and buying a parking spot (in the south especially) is needed; but either way the pay makes up for what you’d spend on parking, plus they only fuel with Pilot/Flying J so you can build your points up and not even have to pay for parking! Another complaint (not their fault) is drivers who quit or were fired beat some of these Petes up bad, the clutch is messed up on mine but nothing major and it’s a lot more comfortable than a freightliner"
"I ran out of gas on the highway today and was able to make it to the ramp of a rest stop. I thought that would be safe but little did I know the amount of truck drivers that were absolutely rude!!!!! The only one that stopped, set up orange triangles and ask if I needed help was a man named Joshua Moats truck 2018!! He was kind, concerned and helpful. These truckers drive way to fast and were unconcerned. I feel he needs to be recognized for his good deed when countless trucks flew by me tired I’m sure but so was he! God bless the good ones!!"
"I drive for them and so far no complaints at all my DM is very professional and I get as many miles as I can handle my trucks a 2020 peterbilt 10 speed and I never feel like a number to them if your a truck driver give them a call"
"I have worked for a lot of companies but this one is by far the best. I have a great dispatcher that works hard to keep me running. They got a great maintenance program that keeps the equipment up to date and running great. They have a great office staff that takes care of their employees. If you want a great career and actually have money in your pocket you got to work for HMD LLC...."
