Williams Hollow Campground

Williams Hollow Campground is a picturesque park and tourist attraction located at 2258 State Route 227 in Spruce Pine, Alabama, United States. The campgrounds are typically open from Mid-March until Mid-October, offering visitors a chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and recreational activities. The four lakes within the area, including Cedar Creek, Little Bear, Upper Bear, and Bear Creek, are known for their clean waters and excellent fishing opportunities. Visitors can catch smallmouth bass over 5-lbs and largemouth bass over 15-lbs in these lakes. To access the lakes and facilities, individuals between the ages of 16 and 65 must obtain a user's permit. Managed by the Bear Creek Development Authority (BCDA), the Bear Creek Water Control Project offers a range of outdoor activities such as boating, swimming, hunting, camping, picnicking, and hiking. Five campgrounds are available for visitors to stay at, with the lakes open year-round for recreational use.
