"Clean park. Great swimming holes. Lots of picnic tables in shaded areas. Not over crowded. Especially, for a hot summer swimming day."

"Part of National Park System with fee entrance. Public restrooms and handicap parking. Abundance of picnic tables and a group gathering pavilion. Places to swim in the river with a small beach. There is also a kayak launch site."

"The place is absolutely beautiful! We loved it! I see some people complaining about the sand being gone. One flood is all it takes to wash the sand away and it takes alittle time to get sand back in. The price is a little high depending on if you have a car load or if it's just a couple walking the dog for a small walk! We paid the 15$ just to spend about an hour to let our pup walk and get a drink of water! To cold to swim so I do agree the price is a little much at least for this time of year but would be more worth it in the summer! It is a really nice place for a family to have a picnic and spend a nice summer day!"

"I enjoyed a lunch at the picnic area then went on a scenic hike and got to see some great sights. The walk is a little tough. Lots of things the trip on so watch your step. If you can manage it's worth the walk. Good exercise and plenty of shade. Bring some water with you and snacks if you have little ones."

"I'm disappointed it is going down hill every year! The main swimming area is terrible. It is full of leaves before I think sand was brought in and it kept that area clean and built up. Now it's a mess. I wouldn't ever swim there because its terrible who wants to walk in decaying leaves and sticks. To top it off now u have to pay $15 for a week or 35 for the season. No day change. U have to pay for the week. It has gone up every year and we're told that it to improve the area. PEASE fix the swimming area so old people and small children can play in the water without the risk of being snake bite or falling down the steep slippery wet rocks. I will see if I can find a picture of the swimming area from a couple of years ago and what it looks like now for Comparison . PLEASE FIX!"
