"As a former substitute teacher, don’t send your kids here! The school has terrible discipline policies for both staff and students. My experience subbing was always awful students never listened, and I constantly had to send them to the office for time outs. I got in trouble one day due to a student going behind the teachers desk, grabbing my art journal, and showing other students what was in my book. This book was never handed to the students nor were they given permission to touch it, they waited on me to leave to room to stand outside the door to watch for their teacher to do this. The students faced no consequences for their actions however I did, I had a whole case against me I had to clear. Bullying happens in classrooms constantly every day and nothing is done about it. Our students with special needs are treated poorly and “special” when their accommodations request them to have extra help and be treated normal. Their has been times a student(s) has gone around hitting others and only gotten a phone call home and a time put in office. On top of all this when I would call the office for help or back up in the classroom I was lucky if someone came, half the time the classroom would remain chaotic until class was dismissed (this was in every Avon school). This is NOT a safe place for children. I will definitely be moving away before my child starts school. I don’t want her going here. Absolutely terrible, they ruin your kids and the educational curriculum is not accurate nor enriching. This goes for k-12 Avon schools."

"Terrible discipline policies! This school and their rules and favoritism have been detrimental to my family. My daughter was taunted by another student because her boyfriend died. So she fought the girl, and consequently was suspended for 10 days. The other girl only was suspended for 5. When my daughter returned to the school, there was no safety protocol in place. She, and several other students, were peppersprayed by the same student. She threw her phone at my child's face,sprayed my daughter, and my daughter walked away. All of this was on camera. The student followed her, and pepper sprayed her again ,so my daughter swung on her. My daughter was again suspended for 10 days, for defending herself! There was a pending expulsion. The expulsion hearing was a joke. They didn't care what my child was going through. Just the fact that she violated the code of conduct. So my daughter was expelled, 1 month into her freshman year. Avon CSC wouldn't allow her to do online work, and no other school would take her. My daughter was an A honor roll student. Never been suspended or in a fight before we came here. The other student, however, was not expelled. They play favorites and its ridiculous. The administration staff is a joke, with the exception of Dr. Willis."

"I was a student for 4 years at this highschool, and to give you a little taste, my house burned down sophomore year and had my student counselor and AP tell me, "nobody told us" after I had gone down in smoke stained clothes the day after to tell them. Completely bungled everything they were expected to do as a school, not once would I walk into a classroom and want to be there. There ARE good teachers, Miss Williams, Miss Hultman, Mr Rohrbach are all people who love what they do. However when the other 6/7 classes are busy work and teachers who don't care, makes it very hard to want to go to school. Over crowded, inattentive teachers and power hungry administrators who abuse students then turn around and claim to be helping. Frank Meyer was the prime example of "do as I say not as I do". Dr Willis is the only Administrator that deserves any kind of respect. Hines and Michelle Wilson need to lose their jobs. Avon is the definition of those born in the right situation have a great time, it's screw everyone else. If you are not apart of the marching band, football or your family isn't a donor, expect to have an experience that you'd wish you never had. Best thing you can do is community raise your kids. One stay at home mom/dad does English, another does math, a retired army veteran does gym class. These anti-American and pro-degeneracy school policies will ruin generations to come. If you think it's bad now, imagine a generation with no memory of the original foundings of our country and its principles of individual freedoms and state rights over federal. Avons doing their part in the brainwashing to accept globalist policies."

"This is the MOST RASICT school corporation I have EVER, EVER been subject to. I am very involved with my boys education and to have my parenting skills called into question by a teacher that has a TON of her own kids and still wants to be a teacher that doesn't teach. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!! DO NOT MOVE YOUR BLACK FAMILY TO THIS SCHOOL. They have no respect for the parents and act like you're not educated. My kids will not deal with this! I am standing up to this prejudice school system! They will be hearing from my lawyer!!"
