"Overpriced and dated for what they offer. Even the newer apartments are $300-400 more expensive than equivalent spaces in the area. The entire year I lived here there was loud construction every day and workers sitting or laying all over the sidewalk and in front of the stairs, trash everywhere and parking spaces filled. No discounts or acknowledgement of the noise was offered until after the fact. The maintenance guy was really nice but there are better options closer to the village."
"I've lived at Shore Acres in the old apartment complexes for over two years and was very glad I got to stay with the same management group when I moved into the new building. The fitness center is nice and newly renovated. The location is perfect and the management has always been friendly and responsive. The best upgrade from moving from the old building to new is the trash valet and the security system!"
"Kellie and Alexa on the leasing team have been very professional and a huge help in making my cross-country move as smooth as possible. I love my apartment—the location, new construction, amenities, access to the Monon, and quiet, woodsy setting are ideal. The lack of an elevator could be a concern for anyone with accessibility needs and it makes moving heavy items to upper floors very challenging."
"Dropping a line before inspection. All of the following were the case when I took residence in November of 2020 per the move-in inspection I provided at that time. Bathroom tile is cracked and sealant is funky. Microwave is excessively loud during operation. Windows are worn out and/or broken. Carpet was pretty worn and not clean when I moved in 4 years ago."
"The apartments are out of date and you can tell they just paint them quickly and turn them over. There are long black hairs painted into the walls in almost every room. You'll also get the pleasure of never being able to park because of constant construction. The beeping, banging, and shouting start bright and early every morning. Also, be careful to check for nails and screws that litter the parking lot. Can't wait until my lease is up in November."
