"The unit I was in was very small. There’s no washer and dryer in the unit but one in the building next door. The laundry room is dirty and a creepy basement. I went without properly working water for at least 2 weeks it would get extremely hot and then run cold. So I had 3 minute showers the first 2 weeks of my stay. I expressed this in my first couple of days of moving in but I was ignored. And it took more complaining and actually timing the shower to prove that it was broken then I finally got that issue fixed. Apparently there is increased crime in the area so expect to have your package stolen. There’s cameras but management will not follow up with checking the footage although it probably doesn’t matter. Since there’s increased crime in the area they leave the buildings doors cracked open which is a security issue so anyone can walk in. Door buzzers do not work. My unit didn’t have a peep hole so I couldn’t see who was at my door. But ultimately the reason I did not make it a full month at my apartment. The building is infested with mice. I caught three mice. And I saw 2 other mice. So a total of 5 mice in my apartment alone. There is a complete infestation. They were getting into my food and my dogs food. It’s not worth the stress. Just avoid this place at all cost."

"We did some painting and other punch list things for this company. We are a small crew. 2 or 3 guys , so every job really matters pay wise. This company does not pay there contractors , Scott Schulman and Rhonda Steele are scam artists. I wish I could give this place negative stars"

"The apartment was cozy and affordable, but management was extremely unresponsive. I moved out in September, 2021 and never received my security deposit back or any acknowledgement whatsoever despite attempting to follow up multiple times via phone when I moved out as well as the occasional reminder emails since then."

"I lived here for two years and this was my experience. Pros Location Free parking Cons Noise - since you’re close to Delaware st there’s a lot of traffic noise and sirens. In the summer expect to be woken up by motorcycles at 2am. The floorboards are also super creaky. I lived on the first floor and my upstairs neighbor would wake me up in the middle of the night if they walked around. Management- they were fine when I first moved in, but after the lady who was in charge left, communication was poor and they were extremely disorganized. It became impossible to get a hold of management, they don’t have email and no one ever answers the phone. I left a voicemail and letter in the rent box three times informing them I was not renewing my lease, and still got a phone call from management asking if I was renewing. Landlord only returned my security deposit three months after I left, and this was after I left multiple voicemails and visited their office in person twice. Guy in the office had the nerve to say they’ll send me my deposit once they figure out what they need to take out. Firstly, I left the place spotless, and secondly, I had to remind him that Indiana law states that if they don’t return my deposit within 45 days of vacating I was entitled to my full deposit amount. Maintenance is friendly but they only fix big problems, like if your water heater or garbage disposal stops working. Smaller problems like toilet not flushing properly or the front door locks always being jammed never got fixed. My neighbor said the landlord refused to fix their AC so they had no AC the whole summer, and as far as I know it was not fixed by the time I left in the fall. The apartments were dated but fine for the most part. I travel a lot for work so I didn’t spend a lot of time home, but I eventually moved due to the noise."

"Cute. No bugs or mice. Believe me; I'd be able to hear them like my neighbor's dog walking around above me. Large, single-pane windows let in lots of natural light and fresh, cold air -- even when closed! Central heat and air are great for pulling in second-hand smoke from neighbor next door. Cooking for one is all the space you'll need in your kitchenette. Some units even have a convenient bathroom sink in the bedroom! Get to know your neighbors by inadvertently hearing their conversations through the walls. No need to lock your door, maintenance will come in unannounced to "check for a leak." And don't worry, if something needs fixed, no one in the office answers the phone or returns emails. Coin-operated laundry on-site; modern machines that don't take quarters minted before 1980. They recently updated the main entry flooring from half-inch herringbone marble to two-toned ceramic. Your paper rent check will be deposited promptly each month, so be sure to mail it in early. Secured entry, when staff doesn't prop the building's front door open. Great location. Interesting aroma as soon as you enter the building -- "vintage" with a hint of mold. Walk to Mass Ave during the day alone or at night with a friend! It's exciting to hear the emergency vehicles fly past or motorcycles rev their engines at all hours. Piano in the basement -- great to serenade your neighbors to sleep. The hallways were vacuumed a couple times in 2020. Affordable."
