"I had a terrible experience from these people. I have NEVER write a review about an apartment complex before and this is the first. I applied for an apartment and my husband alone make 3x the rent if not more . And we do not have any EVICTION we don’t owe any landlord. They claim that we was denied due to credit. And I’m still waiting on that so called denied letter and my holding fee. Funny thing is they didn’t even call to let us know that we was denied. After SEVERAL phone call they finally answer! But I’m glad I won’t be staying here and I got approved for another Apartment which was the SAME amount I would be paying here."
"Moving in we had some issues with the A/C (peak summer). But the team at The Retreat really took care of us and the issues at hand. The maintenance is really skillful and made the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. We really appreciate everyone involved here at The Retreat."
"I have been living here for 6 months and love it! It is peaceful and the staff is very helpful. I enjoy living so close to the Monon too. The apartments are well designed and were recently renovated. The maintenance crew is also very prompt. The buildings are well designed and I never hear any of my neighbors. The snow removal is well done. I recommend living here!"
"I lived here for 2 years and I am afraid I will never find an apartment community as amazing as the Retreat. Their maintenance is phenomenal and super fast- the best maintenance you will ever have. I would call with a problem and no matter how small they would be at my door minutes later. The apartments and landscaping are beautiful and well maintained. The Retreat is also the only apartment community I have ever found with attached garages with direct access. For the location and everything the Retreat has to offer the price is worth it if you can afford it."
"The Retreat is such a great place to live! My husband and I love how quiet, safe, clean and charming the neighborhood is...we wouldn't want to rent anywhere else. Not only are the apartments spacious, they are updated and very well-kept. The staff does a wonderful job making sure everything is perfect and that the tenants are happy. You absolutely get what you pay for here and I am not going anywhere until we are ready to purchase a home. Check it out if you are planning to move to the Carmel/northside area...it really beats out the rest in a million different ways!"
