"As with any place you wish to call home, do your research. Two things for... YOU are your own security / protection. PARKING is NOT a guarantee. Those pretty signs about private parking or parking, one needs to have a tag? that really does not apply. Most of the parking spots are taken up by people who are NOT on a lease, yet lives here. YOU have to figure it out!! One thing is certain: Payment of rent."

"I have been in this apartment since last December. I’ve noticed electrical issues some of my outlets do not work their shoddy work that has been done. I can see they painted over water damage in the ceiling so there’s no way to tell if there is mold since they painted over it. Recently I noticed that have not sealed the corners of the walls there are serious holes I didn’t notice and a mouse got in my apartment I called to have maintenance fill the holes and the person they sent had no idea what she was doing and did a ridiculously sloppy Job. after I called the of to let them lknow and that this wouldn’t stop anything for getting in my apartment she decided to be petty and lie stating my apartment had “housekeeping issues”. Also after living here just one year my rant is going from 1262 to 1432. I CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE!"

"I do not recommend these apartments to anyone!!! I use to rave about thesw apartments until I officially moved out. The leasing office and corporate is beyond rude. I received a last statement (bill) with the utility charges and miscellaneous charges. One of the charges on there was for the parking permit and key fob for the gym which I still have in my procession to this day. I called the leasing office to let her know I completely forgot to turn it in, but that I still had it and go drop it off right now. The leasing office had reminded me constantly to turn in the key, but never mentioned anything else. She was very rude stating she had already closed it out and there was nothing I could do. I understand it was on the lease contract, but who remembers everything when you are in the process of moving. The least Auburn Hill apartments could have done was provided me a courtesy call before charging me over $300 for a parking permit & key fob. I then proceeded to call corporate Urbahns Developement to express my frustrations and experience. I can’t believe how that lady handled my concerns!! I literally explained to her the situation with no attitude or rudeness what so ever and she literally interrupts me and says “she (leasing lady) didn’t have to, I’m not about to do this with you.” Then tried to gas light me into saying I said things that I did not say to her. Wow I’ve never had someone from upper management be so rude and careless about an issue. I will be contacting the BBB. I do not recommend these apartments any longer. They are money hungry. A 5 minute courtesy call to a loyal resident could have made all the difference."

"I live here for a year and only moved because I got married! I definitely would have resigned my lease. They take very good care of the grounds and maintenance is incredible. I've rented for a long time and I have never had such fast and reliable maintenance. The front office experiences a LOT of turnover. Overall this has been one of the best places I have lived in in Indy. The apartments are very well kept except for the balcony. The siding on my balcony was absolutely disgusting, but nothing a little power wash wouldn't clean up. I would recommend this place and have to many people!"

"I lived here for almost 3 years and had very few bad experiences. The office staff are incredibly sweet and the grounds are extremely quiet and well taken care of. I don't think I ever heard my next door neighbor in 3 years! A minor complaint is that the company that takes care of the grounds tends to start mowing very early, even on weekends. Sometimes the parking is a pain if you come home late at night. 90% of our neighbors were very sweet and respectful. The pool and gym are great and very clean. Even with traffic my drive to IUPUI was never more than 20 minutes. My main complaint is that I had to move out because I was leaving for professional school, and I was charged an extra rent even though they found someone to take over my lease. So I didn't get my security deposit back and I owed them 270 dollars (they took part of what I owed them from the deposit) which is a little ridiculous in my opinion. But I understand it was in the lease and they can't change that, so just keep it in mind if you think you have to move out early. Overall, it was a lovely place to live and has a very reasonable rent."
