Garfield Park Apartments

"Affordable prices and updated appliances but the walls and floors and so thin there's no privacy. It's really loud. If I didn't hear every convo and move my neighbors made through the walls and floors then I would've stayed. Hear Bill was always so high and my temp stayed on 74. Parking is a nightmare. They tow cars. But no where to park. Police is called at least once a month. Better security management would be good. Lived there for only a year and once my lease was up ,I left"

"I lived here for two years. At first, the apartment was really nice and I did not have any issues. But overtime you could tell that it was poorly put together. I could hear my neighbors both upstairs and next to me talking and walking. The toilet and bathtub would overflow while I was at work. At one point, They had to take out the flooring and redo the pipes after they put the pipes back they were not low enough, so the flooring was very uneven. They also did not have the correct flooring to put back after this, so I had two colors that we're completely different. There has been times where neighbors have left their clothes in the washer and dryer for days. Parking is a nightmare. Upon move out, I reached out multiple times over the course of a few weeks to schedule the walk through with them and did not hear back until 2 days before my lease was up. And now I have been waiting 52 days for my deposit and just heard something back last week which was still over 45 days since I returned the keys. Now they are saying they are taking a $250 cleaning fee since they hire professionals cleaners before next tenants move in (even though this is not stated in the lease) and they said my apartment was in excellent condition."

"Been living here for a month now it’s pretty cool apartments no complaints on my end it’s really quiet and laid back around here and the rent is pretty affordable especially being close to downtown Indianapolis."

"Floors and walls are thin, my heat is always on 78 and my bill was $183, yes it looks nice but the noise is just too much, and making payments online is expensive, also I have never lived somewhere where I accumulate parking tickets for every little thing when I pay to live here. And the furniture in the alley across the street has been there for months, def get tired of looking at that out my window."

"I've rented here for about a year and really like living here. I looked downtown but couldn't find anything less than $1,200. I pay $750 a month here for a two bedroom and one bathroom apartment and I'm 5 minutes from downtown. They have property manager on site full time and they've completely remodeled the whole complex. Love my floors and stainless steel appliances. Home sweet home. :)"
