"The pictures are from today, but I have previous pictures and maintenance request in my phone of the same issue. I’ve lived here for a few years, but moved in August from the front side lake/water to a building in the back of the complex. Yes, I’ve heard of field mice, but as a previous homeowner and renter at other complexes, I have never had issues with mice my entire lifetime. The new lease charges a monthly Pest fee, I don’t know what is for because when I reported it the first time to maintenance (October), they came to check my apartment and denied that there was a problem with mice when clearly I have it in front of me-on top of now reading other tenants reviews I totally believe the reviews. Lake Pointe does not do the maintenance and upkeep on heating and cooling as it should rather check, smoke alarms, and they offer you some cheap filters that still have to be replaced quite often, so I just purchased my own better ones from Menards. The air vent covers are rusted. When my furnace comes on, I should not have to smell, musty ventilation, the smoke of the first floor tenants, and dead mice. I use the air purifier, but I’m gonna have to purchase a second one. I should not have to spend extra money on furnace filters, home, fragrances, air, purifier, and mouse traps with overpriced rent, amenities and fees. I’m absolutely sick of it! Morgan Properties/Lake Pointe Should just close and shut down for good. If I could rate this a zero, I would, but I had to give it one star. Do not move into this apartment complex! I don’t care how good they try to make it look in the advertisements, how they try to comment on these Google post like they really address problems is a lie, just do not move here. As soon as this lease is up, I am out of here."

"This complex is terrible if you are reading this run. I have made several complaints and some have been address. Now it seems like I am experiencing some type of bug issues. I called the office spoke with Melissa and was told that I was put on the pest control list and they come out once a month on a Friday. I express to here that I have never went through this before. Whatever the Issue is has my hands swollen my face has broken out and my skin is welted. No I'm sorry for what you are going through none if that. She did say she will see if maintenance will come considering I'm already on the pest control list. At this point I'm over this place and would tell anyone to run don't rent here. I want my lease terminated especially since I have broken out and I am wearing a mask in my own house because I don't know what type of bugs these are. Thank God for Candace. After posting my complaint. Candace got right on top of my issue. She made a call and was able to have the carpet removed everywhere with the execption of the bedroom and the laundry area. They put brand new carpet in those areas but after a 48 hours it still smells like cat pee. I don't care what the office says someone lived here with a pet. Energy is everything to me. When i say my unit looks like a whole new vibe. I love what was done wity the flooring. I wish that hardwood flooring was able to be installed everywhere in the unit. Thank You Candace for hearing my cry when the people in the office did not. I still need the cracks in my balcony sealed because i choose this unit based upon the photos on the internet. So i am still waiting for this to occur. Candace needs and deservs a raise. She has outstanding customer service and works well wity the public. She has made sure that almo I have lived here for 24 days and I am very disappointed. I don't like it here. I feel that I was thrown into any available vacant unit where there was really no work done. This place does not have proper ventilation. I am gound floor i have 2 windows in my living room and 1 in my laundry room. Where is a window for the bedroom. There is none. I moved in the unit reaked of cat urine. There was a bunch of Cobb webs outside of my unit and in the storage area. Maintenance address the Cobb web issue the next day. The carpet is just nasty as ever I brought a brand new vaccum and it was filled to the top automatically and that was justfor 1 room as I am vacuuming bugs ticks or fleas are popping out of the carpet. I vaccum everyday because I have real bad sinuses and allergies. Don't they know that carpet holds a lot of germs and bacteria. My storage area is all old and dirty. My balcony has several cracks in it. I am not happy nor am I satisfied.for the rent they want to charge this place should be in tip top shape. I have address the carpet issue 3 times with management and nothing has been done. At this point I want the carpet removed for my sanity and there's. If they can't do anything with the carpet at least fine me another unit where the balcony and storage area is not dirty and cracked up. Or we can terminate my lease and do a month to month. I am very unsatisfied. When a new tenant moves into a unit the place should be as clean as possible of course the tenant has to do a litte sanitation but this absolutely ridiculous. I bought a swifter and started dusting because my sinuses are bad and the swifter is filthy. Under the bottom of the sink the boards are dirty snd nasty. I moved out here from schaumburg and this totally different living everything and in my unit in Schaumburg was very cleanand it was not new. My unit was so clean that you could eat off the floor. i am very disappointed and dissatisfied my sinuses are killing me on a daily basis. I hate it hear and wish I would have looked into other options. I am hoping fir the carpet to be removed if not than we would need to have a conversation about lease termination. I am the only one in this unit. I should not have to dust or vaccum every dam day."

"Priced to high. Maintenance does not fix things. My neighbor had an issue with her door knob not opening. Maintenance closed the ticket without even looking at it. I have had a water issue since I moved in two years ago. I lived there for over two years. Maintenance rarely fixed anything correctly. I had two family members in other apartments that had many issues and they were closed without fixing them. Their accounting department always messes up your account. I paid every month more than what I owed most months to stay a head. I moved out and now they are saying another person's rent was put on my account and I did not pay. Management never responds. Since Morgan Properties took over it's been a mess. I would never rent from that company again."

"I’ve been here for almost four months. I love my apartment and feel safe. I had a problem with my water heater. The new maintenance manager personally answered the call at 8:00 pm. He was polite and made sure I had a new water heater the next day. I spend a lot of time on my back patio, enjoying the beautiful lake. I’m always entertained by the wildlife that inhabits the lake. I plan on being here for a while. A quick shoutout to Melissa in the front office! She made sure I had a newly renovated apartment and was able to arrange an early move in date for me. Keep up the good work!"
