"Never stayed there but it looks like a nice hotel."

"Please read entire review, this establishment is in the second half of review. Wish I could give 0 stars. We stayed July 4th, 2021 weekend for the car meet/auction. The first hotel, starting at the Baymont by Wyndham Auburn, our first set of rooms, oh boy where to even begin? The first room wasn’t cleaned after the prior guests, from the unkept bedding and linens, filled trash cans, unflushed toilet & bathroom visibly had been used with steam on the mirror, wet shower/tub, we requested a different room. Second room, somewhat clean but had a lingering pungent smell and black mold on the headboard wall closest to the window, in addition to molding & ceiling that showed visible water damage. We travel for business and unfortunately my dog sitter passed away a few years ago, so dog friendly hotels are limited, especially in small towns. We decided to leave and try our luck elsewhere. The second hotel, Days Inn by Wyndham Auburn yes, Wyndham also, same management and appears staff too. We were tired from traveling and at this point, wanted to rest. The hotel elevator shared the same pungent odor the previous hotel’s bathroom had, but our room didn’t have mold, didn’t appear anyone had stay the night before, we ran over to Walmart for throw-away sheets & stayed for one night. That Friday night, we heard gunshots, witnessed non hotel patrons entering the hotel and using the facilities, including the pool, there were police at one point in the early morning hours because the sirens us woke up. We were supposed to stay two nights, but packed up Saturday afternoon and left after our business event. Under normal circumstances, I would leave my two small dogs at the hotel during an event or while I exercise, however, we packed up everything and left, there was no way we were leaving anything behind unattended. Would not recommend either location until they are cleaned up, staff is retrained or replaced and a complete overhaul of operations."

"Very acceptable. Cereal. Juice and coffee was the breakfast. I hate covid as much as the next person but individually wrapped pastries or bread in a sandwich bag for toast would have been good. Very friendly staff. Will return if we get this way again."

"Not the biggest or fanciest place, but I liked it. The check in was simple and even though it was late the receptionist was very pleasant. It would be nice if the room was cleaned better and my non smoking room smelled like some one had recently smoked in it. At least I didn't see any bugs!"

"Hotel is small but organized, the rooms are clean and has no smell, restroom and bathtub are clean. Mattress covers and pillows are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist girl on the late night of July 28 and early morning of 29 is a very well done employee, she helps me (a trucker) to find a safe parking spot, and she did the check-in for me very quick and professional manner. I hope the owner of the hotel or the management should consider her a better pay raise or a promotion for her hard working. ☺"
