"Im not sure they thoroughly clean the rooms. There was a mans large comb on floor behind the nightstand. A pillow case looked really used. The wrinkles were that of when you lay on it for a while. Not sure... The T.V. only had 1 channel. The remote only turned the power on and off. Nothing else worked on it. The outlet plugs didnt work next to bed, I woke up to 24% power on my phone. Same with lamp outlet on desk. The beds are really hard. Kept waking up all night with my arms or hips numb/asleep. So if you like that then you're all set. Most likely will not stay here again. Too many other choices in the area. Really thought that this place would be cute and quaint. Not really. Its very out of date and needs serious TLC. The towels are very worn and dark white. Please someone save this place! Looks like they stopped caring. Rm #100"
"Minus stains on the bed and cigarette burns on the sheet ... No toilet paper in the room ... And the rotting wood.... It's a great Victorian Style hotel"
"Great value and a super nice facility! If no elevator (2 floors) and three steps leading into the main entrance do not bother you, then this is a steal of a deal. The facility does have some age spots: HVAC fan was noisy, there are some dings on the walls. Service was excellent, the lobby is beautiful, and breakfast is quite adequate. It's really a 4.5, but that rounds to 5."
"We stay at this hotel every visit and will continue to do so! Our room trash is collected and towels replaced daily. The water pressure is 10/10 and the hotel is QUIET. Fitness center on the second floor and pool out back. My only complaint is the cash only snack bar but still 5/5 rating. Walmart, Culver and Arby’s in walking distance."
"Room was very clean and had all the needed amenities. This is not the fanciest hotel I've stayed in over the years, it was much more "home like"; and it was perfect for my trip. I will say I didn't hear anything outside of my room all night long; no slamming doors or voices out in the hall. There was no traffic noise from nearby I-69, either. I was very impressed with the quiet of the room. They have done a beautiful job of updating this hotel. The lobby was gorgeous with dark wood walls throughout. Very pleasant and helpful staff at the front desk. A+ for this place, no hesitation."
