"(BATHROOM): I thought ALL Choice Hotels eliminated the motion detector / timer light switch in the bathroom. Retired (old) people do not want the LIGHTS coming on during a 3am bathroom visit, or the lights going OFF during a shower. This isn't difficult to fix. We are retired and road trip a great deal. I complained about this years ago, and "most" Choice Hotels eliminated the motion activated switches. Frankly, I was surprised to realize that your hotel STILL had them. I have learned to carry some electrical tape with me for just such a circumstance. (BED SHEETS): I asked a manager at another Comfort Inn about the method of making the beds, with the top sheet extending 18" farther toward the headboard than the comforter. His response was that it was the STANDARD way Choice Hotels has all hotels make the beds. This is something that Choice Hotels should re-think. It makes me wonder how the Choice Hotels executives deal with this if they travel, and stay in Choice Hotels / Comfort Inns. There is just NO WAY to sleep with that extra length of top sheet. The first thing my wife does at any Choice Hotels location is RE-MAKE the beds. It's a pain. A ROYAL PAIN! (DESK LOCATION): Lastly, again from another Choice Hotel location, I had a conversation with a manager about the location of the desk. In a room with TWO queen beds, the HIGHEST TRAFFIC area is at the foot of the bed nearest the entry door. I do not understand WHY the desk is put there. It is the bottleneck of the room. If someone is sitting at the desk, it is impossible to get around. Even if the desk is unoccupied and the chair is pushed all the way under the desk, the chair casters are just waiting for someone to stub a toe. The cleaning staff also has to traverse around the chair with they are cleaning and preparing the room for the next guests. For the life of me, I cannot understand who came up with this arrangement, or . . . WHY. My suggestion, to benefit your hotel, your staff, and ALL Choice Hotel customers, would be to . . . SWITCH THE TV AND DESK LOCATIONS. If nothing else I would really like someone to give me a good reason why this arrangement is "better" than my suggestion. Very unhappy Choice Hotels (15+ years) diamond member."

"The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't functional which was the primary reason we booked this hotel. Also, the do to the hotel pool being painted with some type of oil based paint, the room floors had a very distinct paint smell overnight which was hard to deal with."

"I chose this hotel to stay at for my college graduation. It was a decent hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool was enjoyable. There are some cosmetic issues with the hotel and the room I was in, but the stay itself was fine. I wasn't bothered by any neighbors and the room was very spacious. I would stay here again if given the opportunity."

"Stayed here a few days, it was ok. Not great, not bad. Just ok. Room was clean, but obviously showed signs of wear. I liked that they had a couch which alot of other hotels don't. The breakfast was meh - more so microwavable eggs and sausage and bagels were hard. Beds were comfy. Pool looked cloudy so we didn't swim in it. I would stay again. But would maybe try another local one to see what other breakfast options are available."

"It was acceptably clean. Comfy bed, small fridge & micro were convenient. However, the room smelled like old smoke, even though it's "non-smoking" and the room's vent system was really loud. But overall, okay."
